I wouldn't mind seeing the Spurs win another championship. This clearly isn't the Rockets year, and I just don't want LA or Boston to win it again. Plus, I do like Duncan, and I think another championship might help remind people that he's the best player of his generation.

It's amazing that the Spurs are on pace for a 70-12 season if they maintain their current win loss ratio. I don't think Gregg Popovich is going to play their (old) starters as much towards the end of the season to get them rested for the playoffs.

    64-18 is my guess.

Don't want to predict their final disposition but I am worried about them fading down the stretch due to their age.

That actually might be complete opposite of how the Spurs usually are. Over the last 10 years, they've always been better during the 2nd half of the season... winning more games than the 1st half. I don't know if that will be the case again this season, but you have to look at that fact.

I think they are going to the finals. They are the "stealth" team in the NBA.

Look last year, everybody thought Boston, would lose in the 1st round because they were an old team, but they got to the NBA finals.

Duncan is getting a lot less minutes this season, so he will be ready for playing more minutes in the playoffs.

Spurs haven't lost in the Finals, so if they get there I expect them to win it all...

    69-13

Spurs are definitely getting HCA through WCF. But they've lost series with HCA in 01, 04, 06, 10. It's a 50/50 split between them and Lakers to make finals.

I don't care what the record is as long as they lose. There is only one team I dislike more and that is the Lakers.

    Tony Parker isn't playing injured?

Ginobili was carrying some nuisance injuries last year too.
