Pau is no slower than Asik. I'm thinking the twin towers provide rebounding and defense which allows the rest of the team to roam freely. Plus Pau is an excellent passer and has good mid-range jump-shot Pau and Howard were soaking up rebounds. Pau was doing triple-doubles at the end of the season. I really haven't seen JSmith, Millsap, West enough to compare them to Pau. Aldridge ain't coming.

I seriously hope we get KG for 2 years to tutor Terrence Jones. We can have KG start and have T. Jones backing him up and learning from him. As the year goes by, Jones can slowly take KG's minutes away from him and transition to a starter hopefully by the start of the 2014-2015 season. Picking up a strong player off the bench should be a main priority too. At times I think we lack a scorer when the main unit is off the floor. Picking up a player like J.J Redick would be nice. I like KG but it just seems short-sighted. 1 maybe 2 years of decent activity is what u can expect from him.
I actually like the idea of picking up Marion. This team more than anything needs veteran defensive help. Marion still can guard multiple postions and knocks down open jumpers with that terrible form of his.
I really think we're gonna sign Howard this offseason so if I had to place a bet on the starting lineup it would look like this and why. Pg-Lin starter last yr runs the pick n roll and is a young improving player Sg-harden no need to explain franchise superstar at 23 only going to get better Sf-parsons young improving player, plays well with everyone with improving jumper and handles. Pf-Robinson 5th pick in the draft has all the tools to be a very good player and from all accounts is a beast in practice and works hard. No matter what you think of him if the pf rotation doesn't change I guarantee he gets the first crack at the starting spot. C-Howard best center in the game defensive anchor and can run the pick n roll while also running a post offense through him. This lineup assuming Howard comes and Trob makes the jump I think he will the rockets would have the most athletic rebounding defensive big man combo in the entire NBA with 3 point shooter all on the outside with dwight and Trob running the floor with the wing players the rockets would get alot of dunks for those two guys. If Trob can develop the 15 ft jumper than that's the best lineup going into next yr.
