    definitely? Currious quote.

Unless PPat greatly improves from last season there would be no way I would start him over DMo.... unless DMo just shows up and forgets how to play.

Then keep Moore, or go get a real PG (trade for Alexey Shved or sign Marcelinho Huertas).

Machado is not ready to be the 2nd PG at the NBA level. Ish Smith is much better than Machado at this point. And Ish is a borderline backup.

As long as it is not Douglas. Trust me. Ask any fan who watched the Knick/celtics series last year. Douglas is trash.

Is there nobody that thinks that Machado cannot be a decent back up pg? He looks like an NBA player to me.

He is definitely better than douglas trust me. Tony D is trash. Can't run an offense and is to undersized to be a SG. Machado is definitely better than him.

Ish Smith, especially with a young fastbreaking team, is a lot better than both Douglas and Machado. If we get Dwight though, Douglas with his shooting would be a better backup. (I see some Aaron Brooks in him) Machado probably isn't going to even sniff the court this year in either scenario.

Man. Some of y'all are in for a rude awakening. And you must be calling Brooks trash because that is precisely what Douglas is. Can't run an offense whatsoever. TD isn't a guard in this league. He is a nice guy but he doesn't belong in the NBA.

    OK just for grins:

    Lin/Machado
    Lamb/Richardson
    Parsons/White
    Josh Smith/D-Mo
    Howard/Asik

Why not? Morey is on a roll.

I disagree on this point. Aside from his poor shot selection and lack of jumper, I think Ish showed he could play point at the NBA level two seasons ago when he had to start for our team. He'll be a decent, if not good, backup point guard, though I doubt he'll ever be anything more than that.
