I think it's time to Make America Great Again. It was great a few years ago. And then Trump made America less than great.

So hopefully, we can kick this guy out of office in 2020 and MAGA

 

This blogger is either incredibly lazy, dishonest, or both. Even the part of Coleman "handily" beating Mondale isn't true. He got less than 50% and won by just over two percent against a past-his-prime opponent thrown in to the race because of Wellstone's death (11 days before the election). Why lie about that?

Also, his characterizations of both memorial services are wrong, but even if you trusted them, the comparisons make little sense - one memorial was with Democrats eulogizing a Democrat, the other was Republicans and Democrats eulogizing a Republican. The most overtly "political" moment came from the Republican's Republican daughter referencing a campaign slogan of a Republican candidate.

Moreover, Bush, just a year after 9/11, still had high approval ratings, low to mid sixties. 2002 midterm election results reflected that. Trump's ratings are closer to Bush's in 2006.

 

Who cares about him in a john McCain funeral thread? The same person who told me he didnt agree with any of McCain's policy but liked him as a person is in here posting about trump, not McCain. That's being a loser and why Democrats couldnt beat trump in an election. No priorities outside of throwing petty pot shots at whomever they can. I say this as someone who voted for Obama. You're all an embarrassment.

McCain believed mentioning a candidate's name 60 days before an election should be outlawed. Thankfully this was struck down by the Supreme Court, but as a legislator, he was a menace to the Constitution.
