They kept my father-in-law overnight and let him come home early this afternoon. He had a sudden rapid heart-rate which caused the distress. They want to do further testing but he wants to wait until after the holidays. He seemed fine this afternoon; everyone else was pretty shaken though! He's probably due for some surgery; it's been 13 years since his quad by-pass.
I'm happy that he's ok now. we should all never take our health and family for granted. best wishes for a speedy recovery!
Glad to hear your father is OK. It seems like you've had a rough year with the health of family members and I hope things work out.
Actually this is my wife's parents; mine are both deceased by 2 and 7 years. Mrs. G's mother has Parkinson's and breast cancer (had a lateral mastectomy) and got MRSA which kept her hospitalized for two months from Thanksgiving to New Years of 07-08. Then her dad had his colon re-sected after they removed 18 polyps last Spring followed by this sudden episode. In the meantime, her almost 93-YO grandmother keeps tootin' along! Thanks to all the well-wishers; let's hope things calm down a bit. Everyone's coming over for Giddyup's Chili tonight...
Sorry my mistake. I remember you talking about your mother's illness last year. Best wishes to your family and I hope everything works out.
