    1. ILB Shakeel Rashad - This guy could become something. Very quick and has a nose for the ball. Needs to gain weight and get stronger though.

    2. OLB Eric Lee - I don't like Lee and am banking on him not doing much. While he does have some pass rush, he can not play the run or hold contain at all. 3rd down pash rush only I think.
    3. RB Akeem Hunt - Basically a 3rd back in the mold of Miller/Irvin. Too much redudancy to keep on 53, by still valuable to have/develop.

    4. G Chad Slade - Had a short rookie year as a UDFA signing. Showed well as depth this preseason, can also play RT. Good developmental guy that is added depth, probably makes the 53 at some point this year or next.

    5. WR Quenton Bundrage - Dude has looked good in preseason. Stacked WR group so his presence isn't needed on the 53, but could develop nicely and take the 5th WR position next year.

    6. CB Robert Nelson - The next Charles James? Fast but small for the position. Good on ST, could develop into a 4th or 5th CB on the 53 eventually.

    7. TE Eric Tomlinson - If Fido wasn't here, he would be on the team. Good blocking TE, not that athletic, not a great catcher. He's your typically 3rd blocking TE for most TE groups in the league.

    8. DE Ufomba Kamalu - Honestly didn't see much out of him. Texans probably have their reasons, and have obviously seen him more in practices, etc.

    9. OT Joseph Cheek - Big athletic guy, not that strong. Played G at A&M so he's versatile. Fits the Tackle mold better. Reminds me of Mancz last year. Needs some seasoning and an NFL weight room, and could be good depth in the future. Know him from A&M didn't see what he did for the Saints this pre-season.

    10. DE Brandon Dunn - Once he's healthy, I think he'll replace Still on the 53. Still showed absolutely **** in the pre-season and Dunn showed flashes last year that he could be a good rotational DE/DT. Needs to get backup to speed and he'll be back on the 53 right away.

Practice squad is so much ado about nothing. It is good for the player to practice and develop with their team. But if the Texans have a need mid season they are just as likely to raid another team's squad than promote from their own.

Yep. Like Dumn, Simon, and Hunt. They all came from other teams.

Same with the guys that made the 53 but most likely won't make the active roster on game day.
