Aside from p*rn, email and web surfing, what do you use your tablet for? Off the top of my head, I've used my iPad for: -Signatures (with stylus) -Reading books/digital magazines -Reading digital instruction manuals -Extra monitor -OnLive Desktop -Simple Spreadsheet Editing
Showing my photography and/or video to potential clients. Signing contracts ON-THE-RUN. Notes. What's the app for "extra monitor" at home, with a Windows PC, for example? I haven't tried any apps for that, but I know it's doable.

I've used iDisplay. It isn't perfect, but it's handy when you need a little more real estate on the fly.
What stylus do you use? I haven't found one I liked yet. I don't know why they don't make stylus with a pointed tip instead of the round blunt furry tip. I know its because of the capactive touch but it seems like someone should do something about it. Another thing is why are all these stylus uber tiny and light weight, would it kill them to make a pen that is like a regular pen
Has to be a million practical uses, but I just started using it for scoring and entering stats for baseball games. It's good. I now use it as a rough sketchbook, rather than go through stacks of paper for basic ideas. What about Weather? I use it for that quite a bit. Reference... I use it to ID birds. I use it with my guitar for tuning, and practicing chords and scales. I have used it quite a bit for basic finance info, amortization, snowballing debt, etc. I can use it to program my DVR, or even as a remote control. Used it to draft two winning Fantasy Football teams this season. I dunno, depends what you call practical, I guess. Seems like there has to be a million uses. I also got a wacom bamboo stylus as a gift and it's pretty nice, though someone around here tore the tip and I need to order new ones. When not torn, the tip gives a little, but I read a review online that said removing the tip and adding a tiny bit of sponge into it makes it much better. I will look into iDisplay, was just thinking today it would make a good palette monitor occasionally.
I have an Acer Iconia Tab running ICS. (wifi only) As an actor I use it to read my scripts instead of printing them out. PDF's are much better than paper. I can have them all in one space. I have a healthy play library in my Kindle app too. I have started using Adobe Collage on shows that I am thinking about doing. Nice to get an idea, jot it down and go on with your day. I use dropbox app multiple times a day. I play games (Radiant & GTA) and watch Archer epsiodes on it too, but I actually use it for work a lot more than I thought I would.
Good for travelling when you don't want to take your clunky laptop. Also provides entertainment while on the plane.

I use it for my alarm clock at night best tv remote I have ever had by far Just to name a couple that I have not seen posted yet.
