It wasn't without question, only 4 of the 10 voted him #1

"I’ve got nothing against Johnson," said Yasinskas, who joined AFC West blogger Bill Williamson in ranking the Atlanta Falcons' Roddy White first overall. "In fact, if I had to go out and start a team from scratch, he’d get very strong consideration to be one of my wide receivers. But the reason I went with White was because I went off statistics and I went off success of teams when I filled out my ballot. Sorry, but another mediocre Houston season really didn’t excite me."

    espn. teh lulz.

Pat Yasinskas (the last guy) voted Brandon Lloyd #2. Really now...

That's what shocked me too. It's one thing to think he isn't the best... but to have FIVE other WR ahead of him? That just proves you're wrong.

I looked at the list of receivers, and thought, now there's the one guy who doesn't belong. And then noticed that someone voted him #2. That guy should have his keyboard taken away. Brandon Lloyd wouldn't be the #2 receiver on the Packers, much less the NFL.

If they are only basing it on last year, then yeah I understand. Andre Johnson wasnt an undisputed number one last season. Maybe because he was playing in one leg!

Roddy White may have a bright future, but thats like saying arian foster is the next big star. You never know until they do it again.

The only receiver in the league that is close is Fitzgerald, I'd say it is really close to 1 and 1a, Fitzgerald had freaking Derek Anderson as his QB last year, so he is easily forgotten.

Man it would be amazing if Fitzgerald forced his way out and somehow Houston got him, absolutely would be most unstoppable combination.

Roddy White has had 4 great seasons in a row now.

And he's done it with different quarterbacks and different coaches.

He is no fluke, I have no problem calling him #2 or #3 overall.

Those two idiots that voted Andre Johnson as the #6 receiver seriously need to have their writing privileges revoked.

I'd vote Calvin Johnson a bit higher. Who does he have to pass him the ball?

Yet they rated Fitzgerald high? Makes no sense. I mean yeah, Fitz should be high, but if they're ranking AJ low then Fitz better be low.

It's funny how everyone here are ranting on the guys who gave AJ 6th. And no one pointing out that some guy gave Fitzgerald a 9th place vote(and AJ 1st). Basically had that person voted normally, AJ would've been in 2nd place.

Yeah but you can't eliminate just one guy's statistical outlier.

2 voted Andre 6th best in the NFL. They should be fired on the spot for being that damn stupid.
