With that logic, Kevin Garnett and Jermaine O'neal couldn't help us because they played on crappy teams.

Jamaal Magloire > Chuck Hayes... that's all that needs to be said.

If we are looking at big PF's why dont we contact Cato. It can be green hornet and Cato again! LOL

I want someone like Kurt Thomas - Strong, Bulky, Great Rebound, strong low post defender can hit the mid range J with consistency.

    How about Hakim Warrick?

He’d definitely improve our athleticism, and has a solid offensive game.
Memphis has some bad contracts (Cardinal, Stoudamire) I’m sure they’d like to unload to get significantly under the cap. We have Bob Sura’s contract to offer.

They already have Gasol, Swift, and Gay all sharing minutes at the 4, not to mention the likely addition of Gred Oden. Warrick could be fairly easy to acquire.

Didn't Tyson Chandler lead the league in rebounding?

I think the real answer is Najera. Hes a banger. Has size and can put up about 8 points. I think JVG would really love him, if hes still around to coach him. Denver has too many biggs and they will not let Nene go, nor marcus camby.

Add Battier in and get Collison...because they won't consider this trade with out Battier as the main guy....plus it gives us a scorer and a solid 4 with hustle man Hayes as back up....sweet!

Not a free agent, he's not opting out of his contract.

hooroo...maybe I'm just ignorant...but do you work for the press or the N.B.A. in some way...or do you just do a lot of research on your own...you seem to always be on top of player contract status and what they are looking...either way...appreciate the information....puts things in perspective....so yeah...just how unlikely is a trade with with New Jersey or Sea...I'm thinking same package both times for VC or Lewis...I don't really like VC on our team but I was hoping maybe a threeway with Minny or Indy....and how high is Indy on Granger...cause he is good...

Possibility here but more likely Larry Bird is going to try to package O'Neil for Garnett. Lots of teams are going after Garnett.

    And what about Millsap ?
    Strong, good rebounder and defenser.
He was a 2nd pick last year then maybe we can offer him most than the Jazz.

draft sean williams. crazy good shot blocker and rebounder. very athletic. not a special offensive talent, but still probably has finishing skills comprable to or better than hayes. houston product, mentored by john lucas.

has some personal issues....but after having been kicked off the team and having likely lost the chance at a guaranteed contract, im hoping he has learned his lesson.

He reminds me a lot of Chuck Hayes. Not that that's a bad thing, but I would actually like to have a 4 with range on his jump shot to help draw opposing big men out to guard him so they can't double on Yao. Najera wouldn't fit that description.

I feel like VC is our guy...at least he is the best we can get...and I think that if we wanted him he is ours....he and Tmac have both said they always think of what could have been...VC wants to go to a contending team...not to many teams can offer him the contract he wants....New Jersey is one of the rare teams that like Jho....they get Battier and Wells along with Sura's contract money....two solid guys to fill in for VC and some cap money now...they can further develope Williams and still be solid in the East...VC in houston doesn't make sense but I have a feeling this can happen...I would rather have my Lewis and Collison scenerio...but VC (and Moore) seems like a legit chance...I wish a threeway with a team with a stud pf made sense but they would have to be good enough for VC to want to go there for him to agree to a SN...Dallas would be awesome...but would they want Lewis and Collison or VC for Dirk...better question...would they want to give us Dirk....no....so VC...and Tmac...two guys I always felt would be Rockets (I allways felt VC would team up with SF on this team....I always felt Tmac would be here beacue I never liked a player not on the Rockets as much as him before...) SF comes back...this could be interesting???
    Yao/Jake
    Hayes/Moore
Tmac (moves back to the 3)/ Snyder
    Carter/Head
    Francis/Alston
plus pick and MLE which we could convince Lewis (not likely) or Wallace (yeah) or perhaps...hmmm...thoughts? Look I've been obsessed with coming up with get talent schemes because I feel aggressiveness is key...don't just believe that talent doesn't come easy...work the phones and aquire pieces on the run....the Suns were a lottery team and and swung brillant trades...Nets got Carter for trash...lots of movement possiblities this summer... Rockets need to jump on it...I want to see VC and Francis in Houston or Lewis and Collison...or Garnett..or something big...it can happen...don't ever be fooled by the lack of assets...an enterperneur or capitalist does not make their profit using superior assets and equipement...they succeed with brilliant foresight and determination...Rockets need a shot in the arm...we need to let the front office know this....we need them to make changes that will bring talent to Houston...make it hap'n cap'n.....
