He sucks! Look at him ... playing for Portland for one year! It took me until april until I know he was playing there, he can 't make an impact there and you think he could in Houston?

What about Josh McRoberts from Duke or the local kid Sean Williams from Boston College.

PLEASE, no Wilcox. It's like Eddie Griffin, Kelvin Cato and Stromile Swift had a threesome in which someone gets pregnant despite the laws of science and somehow only the lazy genes supplied in that scenario were dominant.

Troy Murphy would be a perfect fit. He rebounds and has great range to stretch a defense. he cost a little bit, but would be great for this team.

Can only hope that Indiana isn't in love with him and would be willing to move him while saving millions in the process.

Houston trade Juwan Howard (two years left)
    and Bob Sura (expiring contract)

    For

Troy Murphy which has fours remaining on his contract at 40mil. If they aren't in love with him...they probably bite because they would be saving millions.

No one mentioned Drew Gooden, and I think he's the perfect PF for the Rox.Big,athletic, plays with great energy, solid scorer, and most important a terrific offensive rebounder. He will give you a double-double almost every game. And he's not too pricey. Not sure if Cleveland would give him cheap,though...

I'd like to get David West, although it's highly unlikely. He's got a nice mid-range jumpshot, can rebound, defend, and he's young, 26.

Is there some chance of McDyess being shopped? He'd be just about perfect.

I like West and I also think Nene would fit in well here.

Nene would be great. Not only can he play PF but he can also play center. My worry is that if we brought Nene over here is that JVG would play him like Mutumbo and sit his arse on the bench until Yao got tired.

I think McDyess would be great alongside Yao. Only problem is that McDyess fulfilled the promise of being a scorer and inside presence in his last 10 regular season games with Detroit. They will not be eager to part with him. The Pistons would make it painful for us.

I still think rookie Sheldon Williams would be good for us and a likely candidate for the Hawks to deal. They need veteran help and we need a great athletic power forward. Former Duke prospect Sheldon Williams put up some good numbers near the end of the season. He's starting to come into his own. Not too expensive and could play the 4 and do everything we ask of him. He's 6'9" and 250 lbs.

Lets give them Luther Head straight up for Williams. That way we are trading a Veteran "snicker" for a 2nd year rookie. If that doesn't work, throw in some cash or your draft pick. We are going to get such a low pick in the lottery that it won't really matter.

if mcdyse is a fa, i think we could possibly get him. doesn't he lieve in houston? i think he wanted to be with us few years ago, but we just didn't sign him. only way we can ship juawn is if we ship battier with him. maybe we can get lewis and a fist round pick with juawn and battier. their gonna lose lewis anyway, might as well give him to us his hometown. wilcox wouldn't fit. he has no shot, except for dunks. and jvg still might be our coach. who knows.
