Hey guys! So you may or may not know but I live in Los Angeles (born and raised) but I'm a rocket fan and laker hater all the way. Anyway, I JUST got an interview for an EE position in Dallas and I have to say, I like my chances from the sounds of it. I know I know, Mavs suck, boo Mavs, but I know there are a few of you on this board that live in Dallas. Since I wont know ANYone out there if I move there, I was wondering if any Rocket fans would want to get together, maybe watch some rockets games, show me around etc. My interview is within the next two weeks so I'll be out there for that and hopefully will be moved in within the month. Let me know, I'm really excitedddd, yay employment!
first, you're going to need to max out your credit cards. second, you need some heavy duty hair gel. I suggest you contact glenrice.
He also needs a decent little 2009 BMW. A couple of Affliction and Ed Hardy shirts, and he has got to start pretending that he's rich.
Last month, I almost had to move from Houston to Dallas for a job but it worked out that I could stay.
haha go easy on me. its not like i got to choose a texas city to get an interview in haha. Dallas is wayyyyyyyyyyyyyy closer to houston than LA is so boom, positive number 1. i have no idea what the dallas stereotypes are but i'm laughing at how you guys make it seem
just say you live in surrounding suburbs....Half the people here wouldn't know where it is.... Garland, Grand Prairie, Richardson etc...........Just dont say Irving..
Take these lessons to your heart, they're essential to Dallas life: <iframe width="560" height="315" src="http://www.youtube.com/embed/N76ZWBGzT0E" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe>
Welcome to DFW - if you can try to stay on the west or north sides of the metroplex. Mid-Cities/Fort Worth are way more affordable, and the people in FW are more laid back like Houstonians. There IS a difference in the attitudes/lifestyles etc between the people of Dallas and the people of Fort Worth. RRJGamz can tell you all about the Addison (north) area of Dallas - I believe thats where he's living.
better start working on you fake tan designer jeans with flaps and white stitching ed hardy and couture shirts excessive wearing of cologne copious amounts of gel unfortunately, with EE you won't be a 30K millionaire. But you could be a 100K billionaire for sure. and perhaps the most important thing a guy has to do when he lives in Dallas. Spoiler
so what your getting at is...dallas is like the jersey of texas? i'll want to live close my job obviously but definitely don't want to be surrounded by douche bags either
