    I think the path to PG13 is harder than LBJ for two reasons:

    1) there’s a ton more leverage when the player actually wants to come here and that player has a ton of power in the league

    2) PG13 optin trade would mean he’d leave a lot of cash that he’d get back opting out and signing a new max deal. LBJ’s optin contract is virtually the same as a max deal he’d get if he walked.

    It would take 8 million DMorey burner accounts all praising RA nonstop to get CLE to trade an opted-in LeBron to us. I get that would be incentivized to help LeBron a bit, but taking on the RA contract is just too much.

    With Dirk near the end of his tenure, the Mavs are in desperate need of an old, slow, can't jump tall white guy who can shoot to replace him. This is a no brainer.
