If we could get two point guards, then I think Stoudamire should be at the top of our list. His height will be a liability, but with another point with defense as the specialty it should be no problem.

I don't mind one of these separately or 2 of them

but I don't think it would be a good idea to get Damon Stoudamire, Shareef Abdur Rahim, and Bonzi Wells..

Stromile Swift, Antonio Daniels, and a swingman..would be nice.

I agree with you for the most part. I dont want to look like we are just getting the Blazers' scrubs, or left-overs OR sloppy seconds if you will. ha.. but yah i want Swift, Wells, and Daniels... THAT would be the ultimate summer in my books!!

Stoudamire is a good player (when motivated) but I don't see him fitting in here at all. JVG seems to prefer players with height. Combine that with his average-at-best, anybody can shoot over or drive on me, defense---I just don't see it. Certainly not for the MLE.

    HOWEVER......

If what Clutch alluded to is correct about his value being so dimished he may have to accept less than the MLE, it's hard not to at least pick up the phone and call.
