Even though our guys are young, I'd bet anything that they're much more mature than the NYK's locker room. Melo is a dirtbag for coming out and badmouthing Lin's contract. Who the hell is he to talk. What a selfish jerk.
See, this is the one downfall with signing Jeremy Lin. The trolls are going to come out of the woodwork...
If you want shoe endorsements deals, you better buddy up Lin. No player is stupid enough to cause any problems.
OK, firstly this scenario has exactly zero relevance to this team. NY has a bunch of veterans and entitled divas who probably be a little irritated at a near rookie making so much money, that is why JR Smith said that. Houston does not, all rookies and second year players who are on rookie contracts. Kevin Martin doesn't count since it is very unlikely he is on the roster for much longer...and he gets 12m as it is...so no jealousy likely from him. Basically, this belongs in the Dish since it is about what a Knicks player said.
On a side note, does anyone else here think Kevin Martin just completely doesn't give a **** about this team anymore? No news from him at all.
"Melo didn't want Lin back, I do know that," said one source who has extensive dealings with the Knicks and their players. "Everybody in that locker room wanted Lin back except Melo and J.R. Smith." http://espn.go.com/new-york/nba/story/_/id/8182481/ian-oconnor-blame-carmelo-anthony-loss-jeremy-lin By Ian O'Connor | ESPNNewYork.com
