    I blame all of this on the injury of David Robinson. He went down for what? The entire year? in 96-97? That allowed them to get Duncan, and here we are today.

    I hope the Spurs win it all this year. Tim Duncan is the epitome of class and professionalism. He is definitely my favorite player who has never been a Rocket. Who cares how many championships they win? In fact, people that talk about some championships being less valuable than others seem like the crappiest of fans to me.

    Take out Duncan from their lineup, and see how many championships can Ginobli and Parker bring.

    I'm sick of hearing this. How is b****ing nearly every single time up and down the court classy? He whines too much to be considered the epitome of class, IMO. Of course, pretty much the whole league whines now, but no one ever calls Duncan and Ginobili out on it.

    I'm desperately rooting against them, but not because of Lone Star! I love me some Lone Star!

    best case scenario is for the pistons to defeat the heat and then beat the spurs.

    i dont want san antonio to have more rings than houston, and i also dont want shaq to have 2 more rings than hakeem.

    I know that the ring is the only thing that matters, but, as a whole, the Rockets over the years have been a better franchise overall.....and we still have the advantage in Finals appearances.

    Haha I used to be called the BBS Nazi becuase Id be the frist one to jump one some who oped up a thread that was allready there but thoughs days are gone. I opened up a new shop and have ZERO time to post is sucks! Anyways TinMan isn't ever gona learn, he will allways annoy people but heres the trick! Dont take him to seriusly just take it as kind of a joke. Its more like light hummor. Keep it up tinman your still a hero in my book! ;)

    Chicago Bulls maybe. I heard they won 6 in the 90's. 3 of which were inside that 10 year period. The rockets and pistons would not fit into the last 10 years.:rolleyes:

    The Heat haven't beat out the Pistons yet.

    This is a 7 game series. There is no way the Pistons go down in game 6. Of course I couldn't give a rat ass to who wins it this year as long as it isn't a WC team.

    You see, as a Rockets fan in Texas, you have to confront two of the most annoying species of fans.
    Mavericks fan. Who already has braggin rights this year.

    I ocassionally run into Laker fan but they dont' really hate the Rockets. Only the Celtics, Kings, and themselves.

    I've never understood the concept of rooting for a team because they were from Texas. How does that work? Why does it even matter? It's not like we as Texans all of the sudden have bragging rights because the Spurs win it all. People would laugh at you if you said that.
