I real feel the deep of this team and talent let's see how they capitalize against other elite team of the league (lakers, san antonio, dallas, okc, phoenix, boston and miami) if the second lineup can play against the first team or chase, lee, ish can play with the first team we are rolling
Great Game. Ish made the team with his play tonight. ish , lee and bud are going to give the second units of the nba nightmares this year.
great game... i'd like to see what smith can do consistently....i'm all for having 3 pgs that are all good and very different from each other...great versatility. Lee seems to force some shots at times, not sure if he's been told to be very aggressive or what, but overall he's bringing some good energy and intensity, again great versatility. Bud's been impressive, his shot look great and he's done a great job getting open. Chuck's back to snatching basketballs consistently, also looks good.
Remember last season when playing against crap teams was a crapshoot on whether we'd come out on top or not?
couple preseason games and already people want Lowry traded? Just wait until DWill, Billup, CP3, Nash etc. torch AB and Ish in the playoffs, people will be missing Lowry with his physical play and defense....on games that really counts.
the 3rd quarter was unreal. all those highlight dunks and alley-oops just made the game better than all of the previous games combined. i couldnt believe what i saw with that ish-clee-budinger fastbreak. bye bye shane

Ya I kno I would like to see him play more especially in the preseason. But I understand why spend 2.5 million on a guy to ride the bench just hopes he plays more Only thing I disagree with is that I never rmbr Jermaine getting regular mins not even blowout mins prob. The only time is the start vs. La when he did very very good.
i think Adelman wants to see his regular rotation guys before he puts in guys down the end of the bench. Taylor's not gonna get any minutes behind K-Mart, Courtney Lee or C-Bud.
This reminds me of that one preseaon game where Wafer had 7 3-pointers. Mike Harris, Alexander Johnson and Antonio Anderson are probablly boxing up their stuff and looking for jobs in China.
No one is saying give Kyle away for peanuts. Or even salary dump him (which might happen if Ish turns out to be as good as he looks right now) There are some who believe that Kyle was a piece needed to do the Iggy deal and Morey was not having it. That pill would be easier to swallow now that we might have a solid backup for brooks. If any of this where to maybe go down it would have to happen at the deadline. One because Kyle cant be traded till december Two because the sixers want to see how Tuner and Iggy play with each other. My personal opinion is if we trade Kyle it needs to be in package that brings us back a all-star.
Great game by our boys today. Nice surprise to see smith play so great. His court vision for a rookie is ridiculous. Also great to see Yao playing a bit more confident and catching up to game speed (although not quite there yet, but a great job from the big fella tonight). Rest of the guys are who they are, just that they actually played as a team today. BIGGEST DISAPPOINTMENT OF THE DAY: wish chuck could off completed that dunk atempt. he cocked it all the way back and was about to posterise someone. Too bad it was knocked out of his hands. It potentially could of been the best play of his career. but that lob was nice though
Except when a guy can PASS, it's an inherent skill, not luck. That's the main reason why the whole board is so giddy on Ish.
Brilliant game. I loved it. It made me even more excited about the upcoming season. I am loving Courtney Lee. Budinger is looking more and more polished. And Ishmael Smith? Who knew. Sign that kid quick. It's really nice that we have such a solid collection of young talent we can watch develop in addition to a veteran squad that could very well contend for home court in the playoffs. And as much as I love Kyle Lowry (and I LOVE Kyle Lowry), if Ish Smith continues to play like this (I know, I know! A very big if) then I'd be shocked if Lowry isn't traded by the deadline. Could be Melo. Could be Iggy. Could be Wallace in Charlotte. Who knows? Maybe somebody else will come up on the block by then?
