I mentioned to you on your live stream that I met several people a few times at the “sports bar” in the holiday inn at the intersection of 183 & mopac. I can’t really remember who anymore. It was during the early Tmac and Yao days. A looong time ago. Also the Holiday Inn is closed now as well.
I always wonder what percentage of us are considered losers by our peers Whatever racial differences we may have, I think we still have something in common.
I wonder the political makeup of the forum from time to time but not racial makeup. Just never bothered thinking about it.
I would have beers with many of the CFans who played pickup ball at Pin Oak back in the day, but for some reason the only handle I can remember is @moestavern...
I’m much more of an a$$ in real life when it comes to Houston sports. since I live Outside of Houston. I’ve had a beer bottle thrown at me at a Brewers game, they missed and it was a plastic bottle. I’m also the guy who wore a Stros jersey to a Twins Cleveland game late in the season to send a message about what was waiting the winner in the post season. The first time I saw the Astros play in Minnesota it was in the Metrodome and Lance Berkman hit a grand slam. I was the only one cheering and people in my section were yelling at me to sit down.
I haven't. I'm pretty colour blind. Except when someone "makes it their identity" on the forum, then obviously it can't be overlooked.
I've always been kind of a pacifist. When I was a kid, my father told me, "Never hit anyone in anger, unless you're absolutely sure you can get away with it." I don't know what kind of person outside of this bbs I'm gonna make, but I want you guys to know that if we ever get into really heavy combat... I'll be right behind you guys. Every step of the way.
Still @MadMax, but I would like to add @Nook and @Buck Turgidson . Unfortunately I don't drink beer so I hope they like whiskey.
I have come back to report as of 1.5 weeks ago, I met with the infamous @MadMax for a lunch and he is a normal individual and not actually Vernon Maxwell as I previously believed.
