Postal service consider cutting one day

    Not if he picks what states will get hurt the most by the cuts to funding and machines

    The postal service has the capacity to handle the mail in ballot surge even without the funding. It’s the recent changes that call that into question and now have everyone noticing.

    States can do something about it - mail ballot early, ask them to be returned early, allow them to be dropped off, allow them to be scanned at voting sites, and allow them to be postmarked later (all of which the Trump republican has already or will try to block through lawsuits)
