    Can't you write it off or get a credit from the feds next year?

    I did it soley because the house was uncomfortable. I was told by EAS there is some type of energy tax credit. I just haven't really looked into it yet. I'll be curious to see how much the electric bill is in August.

    Its the winter here that jacks our electric bill up, due to all the heating to keep the house warm.
