Not likely to happen, but... It didn't (Van getting Houston's #13 pick to be sent to Detroit), so I had to update (revamp) my draft picks. http://www.clutchcity.net/mockdraft.cfm?xMockID=1121 [This message has been edited by MoonBus (edited June 02, 2001).]
uh, Queso, how about a couple of guys named Tsakalidis and Oyedeji from last year. Both projected lotto picks, both fall out of lotto, PAST #20. Stranger things have happened. I don't agree with toddie's draft, but does that make me more right than he? Haywood IS 7'0'' 260, and would be a Shaq East (granted not nearly the numbers, but size wise). There isn't really too much difference between gambling on him or Diop. ------------------ "That's been a lifelong dream of mine." -Vince Carter, after laying it in on a breakaway, much to the Vancouver crowd's displeasure.
Here mine is. Yeah! http://www.clutchcity.net/mockdraft.cfm?xMockID=1256 ------------------ I hope, when they die, cartoon characters have to answer for their sins.
Nikestrad, it doesn't matter what could happen, it won't. No team would pick Haywood at 3, they would trade down, the highest he could possibly be picked is 9. And your examples of Tsakilidis and Oyedi-whatever are not right. They were predicted as probable end of lottery picks to about 20. Also, Ken Johnson and Terence Morris in the lottery? They probably won't be first rounders. So don't go criticize my criticism unless you have some decent feedback. It doesn't take a genius to realize Haywood isn't top 3 material. ------------------ Mmm Queso.
kgw, I kinda like how you shook up the draft. It's possible one of those trades ends up happening, but all of them is a stretch. ------------------ Mmm Queso.
Nice pictures achebe, where's Laetitia? ------------------ I don't want to waste my time And become a casualty of society. I'll never fall in line Become a victim of your conformity and back down. [This message has been edited by Band Geek Mobster (edited June 01, 2001).]
I really hope that if Joe Johnson falls to 13 that we do not trade up to get White. Otherwise, I'd be ok with it, but not if we can get a steal at #13. ------------------ Now saw off...there's nothing to see here.
c(..)o ------------------ You're a fine woman, why don't you mock that draft up [This message has been edited by Achebe (edited June 01, 2001).]

Baqui99 - The Clippers can't have both Eddy Curry and Kwame Brown, so what's the deal with that? Chicago doesn't need Kwame because they already have Brand and Fizer and the Clippers won't want to piss off Darius and Q by drafting Eddy and trading him. Explain please. ------------------ President of the (the Rockets first pick in the draft) fan club.
Oops I meant that the Bulls could use him at the 4 or 5 spots. I expect Fizer to be gone this summer in a trade with Minnesota. Kwame isn't ready to step in right away, and will need a couple of years to learn how to play center in the NBA. ------------------ "Oh No..." -Bill Walton in 97 just before Stockton's buzzer beater
