My Mock draft:(lottery portion) 1) Cleveland Cavaliers – PG Kyrie Irving 2) Minnesota Timberwolves – SF/PF Derrick Williams 3) Utah Jazz – PG Brandon Knight 4) Cleveland Cavaliers – C Enes Kanter 5) Toronto Raptors – C Jonas Valanciunas 6) Washington Wizards – SF Jan Vesely 7) Sacramento Kings – PG Kemba Walker 8) Detroit Pistons – PF/C Bismack Biyombo 9) Charlotte Bobcats – PF Tristan Thompson 10) Milwaukee Bucks – SF Kawhi Leonard 11) Golden State Warriors – SF/PF Marcus Morris 12) Utah Jazz – SG Alec Burks 13) Phoenix Suns – PG/SG Jimmer Fredette 14) Houston Rockets – SF/PF Tobias Harris
Yeah, it's going to be very interesting to see what Utah does with that pick. I think it's going to come down to Jimmer, Burks, or Singleton at #12.
1. Cavaliers - Derrick Williams, F, Arizona Derrick Williams has certain qualities of a star player such as confidence, composure, big play ability, etc. He is a freak athlete with loads of potential, and actually fills a bigger need than Irving. NBA Comparison: Michael Beasley/Antwan Jamison 2. Timberwolves - Enes Kanter, PF/C, Kentucky Imagine Kanter and Love eating up boards, combined with excellent slashers like Johnny Flynn and Ricky Rubio. Irving is the best player available, but I bet if Kanter would have played this year for Kentucky, we might be talking about him as the number one pick. Plus, I don’t see how three guards will make the rotation. NBA Comparison: Tim Duncan after 30 3. Jazz - Kyrie Irving, PG, Duke They lose Deron Williams, but actually end up pretty lucky here. Kyrie is excellent PG, great decision maker and a craft scorer as well. NBA Comparison: Chris Paul 4. Cleveland - Brandon Knight, PG/SG, Kentucky Brandon Knight and Derrick Williams could be one of the best open court tandems in the NBA. Knight is a willing passer, and shows clutch ability. NBA Comparison: Chauncy Billups/Lou Williams 5. Raptors - Kemba Walker, PG, Uconn The Raptors need a PG, and Kemba is the last PG worth lottery consideration. An amazing leader who might spark the Raptors franchise. NBA Comparison: Tony Parker 6. Wizards - Jan Vesely, F, Czech Republic Vesely is an intriguing prospect because he can do many things. He is a good defender, decent scorer, and works his tail off to win. NBA Comparision: Rich-mans Tayshaun Prince 7. Kings - Kawhi Leonard, SG/SF, San Diego St. The Kings would love to grab Kemba Walker, but I doubt he makes it past the Raptors. They could use a forward though. Leonard is a great energy player who can come in make plays in a variety of ways, mostly in the open court NBA Comparison: Gerald Wallace 8. Pistons - Bismack Biyombo, C/PF, Congo The Pistons need to get back to playing defense, and Biyombo is that first step. With a huge 7’7” wingspan he blocks almost everything. He already possesses and NBA body, and while he is raw, he seems to be learning quickly. NBA Comparison: Serge Ibaka 9. Bobcats - Alec Burks, SG, Colorado The Bobcats lack a true offensive threat (Stephen Jackson is aging). Burks is a crafty scorer who can put up numbers quickly. The Bobcats have reported they are interested in Burks. Another kid with the potential to be a star. NBA Comparison: Brandon Roy 10. Bucks - Donates Motiejunas, PF, Lithuania The Bucks have a lot of role players, but they need some actual talent. Donatas is a terrific scorer from anywhere. They gave up Dirk once, I doubt they do it twice. NBA Comparison: Dirk Nowitzki 11. Warriors - Tristan Thompson, PF, Texas The Warriors have got some nice pieces on their team, but they lack bulk and tenacity. They will learn soon enough that Epke Udoh isn’t much more than a defense role player. Tristan is also best suited as a role player, but is a bit more well rounded. NBA Comparison: Tyrus Thomas 12. Jazz – Jonas Valanciunas, C, Lithuania The Jazz could use a big to push Al Jefferson back to PF, where he can be much more dominant. Jonas is a high energy center. He isn't going to be a 20 and 10 guy, but he is excellent with put backs and would work well in a pick roll with Kyrie. NBA Comparison: Brad Miller 13. Suns -Jimmer Fredette, G, BYU I have a hard time imagining the Jazz passing on Fredette, and they probably won’t if they do not draft Irving, but the Suns is the better scenario. The Suns have the kind of offense Fredette will thrive in. NBA Comparison: Mo Williams/craftier 14. Rockets - Marcus Morris, F, Kansas Either way, the Rockets will most likely be drafting one of the Morris twins. Marcus fills a need and has a little more potential. NBA Comparison: Antoine Walker 15. Pacers -Jordan Hamilton, SG/SF, Texas 16. 76ers - Markeiff Morris, PF/C, Kansas 17. Knicks - Kenneth Faried, PF, Morehead St. 18. Wizards - Tyler Honeycutt, SG/SF, UCLA 19. Bobcats - Chris Singleton, F, Florida St. 20. Timberwolves - Klay Thompson, SG, Washington St. 21. Trailblazers - Darius Morris, PG, Michigan 22. Nuggets - Tobias Harris, F, Tennessee 23. Rockets – Lucas Nogueira, C, Brazil 24. Thunder – Kyle Singler, SF, Duke 25. Celtics – Trey Thompkins, PF, Georgia 26. Mavericks - Bojan Bogdanovic, SG/SF, Bosnia 27. Nets - Justin Harper, PF, Richmond 28. Bulls – Marshon Brooks, SG, Providence 29. Spurs – David Bertans, SF, Latvia 30. Bulls - Chandler Parsons, SF, Florida
For the moment the top 9 look set. Those guys will go in any order. The top 3 are potential all-star talent, the other 6 are expected to be solid starters. Williams and Jonas could be busts. 1. Irving 2. Williams 3. Kanter 4. Jonas 5. Knight 6. Vesley 7. Walker 8. Biyombo 9. Leonard 9-14 are too early to slot, there will be surges from other prospects as we get closer to the draft. Picks in the teens is when talent difference starts to widen noticeably from the top 10. These guys are expected to be solid role players. Donatus and Fredette are gambles this early. 10. Donatas 11. Burks 12. Marcus Morris 13. Fredette 14. Singleton Picks 15-30 too early to slot as well. Anything can be expected from this bunch. You might get some that surge up and go into lottery, maybe a star or two, maybe some solid starters and role players. Most of them will likely be bench warmers for years to come. 15. Hamilton 16. Klay Thompson 17. Tristan Thompson 18. Markieff Morris 19. Faried 20. Harris 21. Honeycutt 22. Thompkins 23. Noguiera 24. Darius Morris 25. Brooks 26. Selby 27. Jackson 28. Lee 29. Updated mock. Hard to predict with Valanciunas situation. We trade #14 and #23 to Milwaukee for the #10 (Kemba Walker).

Markieff Morris 18. Brooks 19. Lee These guys can be expected to be solid role players. 20. Honeycutt 21. Shumpert 22. Hamilton 23. Harris 24. Trey Thompkins 25. Faried 26. Selby 27. Jackson 28.
