18 Team league. First time I have drafted in a league of that size. RB and their backups were gone by the end of the draft. I drafted for depth since I felt that I would go up against teams in such a deep league that would have problems filling their roster every week.

I think Barber is better, he will score more TDs. I would accept the trade.

Below is my team. 10 team, head to head league.
    Start: 1 QB, 2 RB's, 2 WR's, 1 TE, 1 Flex (rb/wr/te), 1 PK, 1 DEF

    QB: Roethlisberger (keeper), McNabb

RB: Brandon Jacobs, Jamal Lewis, Edge James, Ahman Green, Leon Washington

WR: Reggie Wayne, Calvin Johnson, Santonio Holmes (keeper), Jericho Cotchery, Sidney Rice

    TE: Jeremy Shockey, Zach Miller

    DEF: Jacksonville, Baltimore

    K: Adam Vinatieri
    ---------------------------------

I'm pretty happy with how my team turned out. I think my strength is in WR, and I'm in pretty good shape at QB. My RB's could be a bit stronger, but I'm hoping for a healthy year from Jacobs.

I like your starters and think you can be a contender if all of those guys stay healthy. The problem though is everyone deals with injuries at some point. Your bench is weak, especially since you apparently have zero depth at RB. That could mean big problems in a few weeks.

    Thats a very nice team.

If Lewis and Jacobs hold up you'll be aces.

I have a LOT of leagues and teams (but most of them I just used to get a feel for the draft this year)

Here's one of my teams on CBS:

    Romo, Tony QB DAL
    Gore, Frank RB SF
    Jones-Drew, Maurice RB JAC
    Chambers, Chris WR SD
    Houshmandzadeh, T.J. WR CIN
    Owens, Terrell WR DAL
    Heap, Todd TE BAL
    Bironas, Rob K TEN
    Patriots DST

    Bench:
    Manning, Eli QB NYG
    McFadden, Darren RB OAK
    Driver, Donald WR GB
    Keller, Dustin TE NYJ
    Packers DST

True Story: I got Frank Gore for free AFTER the draft. How? The former genius owner DROPPED him. And Santonio Holmes. So I got Frank Gore, but some other guy got Holmes off the waiver list before me (by order). But I'm very happy nonetheless :D

So, what do you guys think?

Oh, and on a side note, am I the only one here who thinks Matt Jones (you know, the lazy, underachieving first round pick WR of Jacksonville) will finally break through this year and start playing up to his abilities and talent? (Btw, he had a fantastic preseason and finally starting to catch balls with BOTH hands now-and he's starting and will likely be the #1 receiver)

Am I the only one here who still has faith in Matt Jones (Jax receiver)?

I followed him closely during the preseason and I have to say this has been by far his most consistent preseasons in his young career. His first game on Sun (6 catches, 80 yards) showed a lot of promise, considering how good the Titans defense is.

I think this is the year that he finally breaks through and showcases more of his playmaking ability (ie 6-6 frame running a 4.30 and a 40 inch vertical).

So anybody else have him on your team?

    8 team league

**$20 to the points winner at the end of each week of the regular season (weeks 1-14). Weeks 15,16, and 17 are the playoffs and do not have a $20 payout.

    **3rd place- $75

    **2nd place- $125

    **1st place- $320

I already got week one high score locked up :D

    YES.
TJ is the deal breaker here. Once Carson and the offense plays to their potential, TJ will be back to his form last year. The first game was the worst their offense can ever get (which can be REALLY bad apparently), but I wouldn't worry too much. He's still a top 10 WR. Clinton is in the same league as Gore still, especially since he will get a LOT of workload this year if Cambell doesn't improve.

Man, this is when I really miss having the power to make threads, if only for these kind of occasions.

So I made a FF league in Yahoo. Its set for tomorrow (Friday) 10:30 am(CDT).
    -H2H
    -QB, 2RB, 3WR, 1W/R, 1TE, 1K, 1DEF, 6BN

Anyone interested? If so, write down your email so I can invite you.

    (yes, I copy/pasted this)

I just traded Randy Moss for Peyton Manning after week two (the person I traded with has Jay Cutler as well).

    This is now my lineup:

QB: Peyton Manning, Jason Campbell, Matt Cassel
RB: Michael Turner, Willie Parker, Ahmad Bradshaw, Rashard Mendenhall, Warrick Dunn,
WR: Chad Johnson, Eddie Royal, Isaac Bruce, Roddy White, Lee Evans
    TE: Antonio Gates
    K: Neil Rackers
    D: Minnesota Vikings

Unfortunately I went with Tom Brady/Randy Moss with the 10th/11th picks in a 10 team league. It was probably a dumb decision in the first place, but things went downhill big time when Brady went down.

I think the ability of my team to be decent enough to have a shot at the playoffs turns on the success of Michael Turner. I took a big gamble on him because I felt he was always really good when he played in San Diego. I thought I was a genius after week one. Not so much after week 2.

Unfortunately Chad Johnson has been a bust so far. At the start of the season I thought WR would be the best part of my team, but with Moss and Johnson sucking so far, my team is in shambles.
