    I "know" you from the myspace thing... I'm on her newest pictures... I don't think we've met... but one day while doing the pre-wedding counseling, Clutchfans came up, so (don't remember how, but it was a real small world moment!)... I had noticed your default pic in her friends list, saw the stadium and field in the background... asked about you by the name on there when this forum came up... short version of the story. :cool:


    And my wife and I were the youth pastors in her home town back in 2001-2003, so that's where we first met them... then they moved "up."

    But, yeah... we should all go eat at the Humperdinks and catch a game or something... that would be cool.

    I think "J" would be chill. He's pretty laid back. ;)

    Strangest thing about our mutual friend is that she roots for the *gulp* Suns. Ugh!

    Seriously, Manny, I'll hold your judgement up to par on this one. Christian or not, this is a good song:

    And I'll even put a "Pariah" visual behind it, although I know Manny can find better versions of the song.

    Seriously, I heard this three times on my way back from Tennessee, and it is a damn good song. I enjoy even more that there is a reasoning behind it. But, as a true singer, realize that most Christian singers tend to be pariahs, and we are all aware of that.

    That said: IMO, this song kicked ass musically. And don't expect Pantera. Think Journey.

    Sadly, the best pariah I could find was Harry Potter. But everything else was way too evangelical for this board.

    I'm considered what people call a worldly ascetic. I tend to avoid things that give me any sort of pleasure. The difference between a normal ascetic and a worldly ascetic, is the latter hasn't totally withdrawn from the world as yet.

    I discovered master-bashen at the ripe age of 7 (1st grade). Of course I didn't know what the hell it was till 4th grade, but I just knew it felt good.

    When I DO watch TV, (which is rare) I'm watching the History or Discovery channel. No stupid reality shows, no nighttime dramas, no sitcoms. My sisters try to talk to me about "Laguna Beach" or "Grey's Anatomy" and I just give them a blank stare. They think I am sooooo strange.
