What the hell do you not understand about POST-ROCKET? His coaching wasn't ever even supposed to be mentioned....in fact, you're the only person to do it. Then, when someone actually calls you out on your BS, you get all sensitive and defensive. Flat out ridiculous.....I hate trolls.
JVG is a better commentator than a coach not a dig at his coaching. . but praise for his commentating he is definately in the top 10 of commentators for me probably Top 5 . .. He is distinct and not a talking head that is why I like Walton too . . cause u not going to get the same ole same ole commentator talk as a coach I was not a fan but you know what . . HE A ROCKET FOR LIFE!! Except that no one asked for your f*ing opinion about his coaching, as the title of the thread would indicate. This thread is not about JVG the coach, it's about JVG the commentator. So unless you have something to contribute to the actual thread topic, don't feel obliged to chime in. Jeebus...
Van Gundy is an excellent commentator. I like that most of his jokes are basketball related, too - as opposed to, say, cookies.
not intelligently or convicingly . JVG is a DAMN good coach, saying he "sucks" is flat out wrong and to be perfectly honest...stupid
Alright, my fault. Sorry guys! Gundy is an awesome commentator and analyst. And I really do mean that.
I agree, he is a great commentator. The best one going around I reckon. He is funny, he gives a great insight into whats happening in the game, he is knowledgeable which makes him stand out among most BB commentators and most importantly, he doesn't take himself too seriously.
