I know, so could I! Did you get to see Blue Cheer in concert, or Spirit? I saw them, and Todd, the Dead, the Moody Blues, of course (hasn't everyone? heck, they're still touring!), several times. I liked the LP's david_rocket posted and saw all those groups more than once. Gentle Giant was great live, as was Yes, Genesis, Alan Parsons, King Crimson. Saw AC/DC and Led Zep from MystikArkitect's album covers and saw all the Beatles live, but never together. Saw both Richard Pryor and Bill Cosby perform stand-up, from cagey veteran. Saw the Velvet Underground (just once) and Frank Zappa (many times), from BlackSombrero. Couldn't tell you how many times I saw the Kinks in concert, from Bullard4Life. Every time they played in Houston, until we moved to Austin in 1980, then I saw them here. One of the greatest live bands EVER. I hope people keep posting LP's. It's fun remembering when those albums came out and trying to recall the chick I took to a particular concert, the friends I went with, what we did before and after .
Alas, during that magical time I was only a wee lad of 7 or 8 (and living in Spain), so I just missed the fun! I just happened to have great teachers during adolescence (and lots of catching up during college daze)
