Fans shouldn't have to deal with shady internet sites and low quality streams to be able to watch their team play.

If you live in Houston you should NOT have to worry about watching every single game off the internet.

I guess the NBA/media is just trying to take away any home field advantage and have all on league pass or streaming one day . I mean seriously, I live in Mavs territory and I've seen MORE games than the fans in Houston.

    That is f*ed.

If you have internet, live in Houston and you have only seen the Rockets play once you aren't much of a fan, sorry. Game tickets could be had for under $10 most games and A ton of Sports bars carry it now.

Give them a break. Not everyone is your age or net savy as you. Not everyone can buy a ticket. Not everyone can just GO to a game.

What? Now that we have an internet we can now decided who the real fans are? BS.

Times are a-changing, clearly, but it would suck to have to pay to watch your home team.

Only games I've missed are the first Lakers game when T-Jones threw down on Jodie Meeks and the Toronto game for the Texans.

I always try to set aside some time for the Rockets. Having Harden, Lin, and playing the way we play makes us must-watch. This is probably the most fun I've had watching the Rockets since we had a healthy McGrady and Yao.

But I don't like when people question other people's fan status just because they can't watch the games. Some people just don't have the time/money/etc. Nothing to be berated over.

Once this Comcast situation (hopefully) gets resolved, I'm sure many more people will be able to watch.

i was in toronto last year, and i had international league pass, but then about 1/4 of the rox game were blackout. I was angry, and i'm boycotting it. This year, I use live steam.

And the worst part was that the competitive games were usually blackout.

i was over at my friends' for the lakers game this week. settled in front of their 60" with good bud and craft beer. then, the screen went blue, "not available in your viewing area." somehow i always forget nbatv does this ****. we watched the game by setting up the laptop on the coffee table to watch the stream...still had fun, rockets still won...but man what a buzzkill.

i've missed a handful of games this season but lucky for me nearly all of them have been losses.

My only post in this thread will be to say, I think there is very likely blame to go around to all sides on this issue and I think it ****ing sucks that so many of you cannot watch the games. I'm not going to comment on your fandom if you haven't been able to watch more than one game because I agree with RocketRaccoon. Not everyone is internet saavy or has the time/money to go to games in person or to bars. Everyone should be able to watch it at home if they wish.

I would sadly fall into the less-internet saavy group. :(

Since moving to Austin and giving up the cable, all I can do is monitor the team from afar. Its all Rangers and Spurs here, especially after the Express changed affiliations.

That Houston Sports Network site was promising but it's not working as of late. It's just really anal that there's no "Where to watch" thread any more.

I have League Pass in Korea. Having it outside the US is amazing as none of the games are blocked. I'm on vaca now too, so I see most games with my morning coffee.

I thought I had most of yall trained on how to download torrents when I did highlights and games.

It isnt difficult and I refuse to believe yall are too old and dumb to do it. Im fairly sure Im older and dumber than most of you anyway and I could figure it out easily.

I used to post a FAQ that droxford wrote on how to use torrents when I posted the [VIDEO] threads...come on guys...I know yall can do it.

    EDIT: here it is http://droxford.50megs.com/btfaq.htm

If there is something you dont understand about it, just ask me. I would be willing to meet in game chat for real time advice if necessary. These guys are fun to watch and I hate hate hate that we all cant see them live, but downloading them is better than nothing.

They shouldn't, but it's loads better than not watching at all.
