agree with ya but its a chance ya gotta take. Howard puts ya in to convo for the championship. Once in the convo anything is possible. Rightnow we are like a kid just out of college trying to get a job with no experience with d howard hes like that extra zip on the resume that gets ya the job. If that makes any sense at all lol.

I will support Howard if he signs here I just happen to think he does not automatically put us in the NBA finals. Don't get me wrong, I think he will sign here and I hope he does deliver as many hopes he will, I just happen to think we will be disappointed and we will see the "Dwightmare" emerge next off season. I really hope I am wrong.

I'm for signing Dwight but get ready if he turn into a Yao Ming. It'll be painful to be in that scenario again. Rockets will be saddled with a large unmovable contract but of course, it's worth the gamble. If it works, we're looking at a championship ring.

Rather you want him or not it looks like he's coming. I necessarily don't want him but if he's knocking on the door _ you got to let him in...

My daughter is doing awesome, she just started her radiation treatments yesterday.

We are all praying and believing that she will ok.

    She is one tough girl!

I also don't what's the big fuss about Howard. He couldn't do anything in Orlando and couldn't do anything in Lakers with all the star players. He is only proven a cancer to the team that signed him. With years of playing, it is proven that he is a one trick pony who can't even improve on free throw shooting... he will only be a big liability at 4th qtr when it's a close game!

Just because he used to be a great leaper doesn't mean anything. An injury prone Yao can easily stop him each time they play against each other when Howard was at his peak without even breaking a sweat. Now after several injuries and regress on athleticism, why would anyone want to give him max is totally beyond me. Especially when it means blowing your very young and solid full of potential team up.

I think Morey finally going to make his biggest mistake ever in his young career as GM and he will be canned in 3 years if Howard does come to Houston.

Guys, want to add this point too...

This is a guard's league now. Small is better. Small takes you deep into the playoffs. that money would be better spent on Josh Smith and a bunch of quality role players.

As usual, everyone else makes moves while we wait on one superstar. We have lived this same nightmare for 3-4 seasons now.

Seriously? Dwight has taken his team farther in playoffs than we have in the last decade.

Good god, why do you try so hard to be a contrarian? We got James Harden with our patience, and have a great shot at another superstar. If you were running the team, we'd be capped out and anywhere between Charlotte and Phoenix.

personally, I'd rather just get a top flight pf and run it with Asik...

that said, LMA or KLove are gonna cost assets...

Milsap or JSmith aint gonna get us to legit contenders...

so I guess we gotta roll the dice on the lyin prima donna....

Howard is not the only player that can take us out of mediocrity. He's just the most available now. There are many possible paths to be a contender. Howard is the most likely path at this point. But he is not without issues. He could turn out to be TMac 2.0.

Lakers fans were all pumped up at the beginning of last season. Look where they are now.

Just because some people don't wear rosy glasses looking at Dwight Howard does not mean that they like mediocrity.

My biggest concern as well. All the signs are there: the injury question, the (supposed) superstar attitude, the uneasy relationships with coaches.

But Morey betting on a different ending, and if Howard does end up in a Rockets uniform, so be it. I'll still be cheering this team on.

so isn't this image why some of us feel another injury and/or whiner will not produce?

btw...isn't that Lin in the seats behind TMac

Howard has the ability to be a #33 and TMac... We should still buy him for nothing but capspace if we can.

but just make sure Les will finally allow Morey to trade him as soon (if it should happen) that the coach says he is sour.

Don't let Les force Morey to keep him
