Whoa. What did we give up for Pippen. We are talking a pure free agent. I've already said I agree with you. But don't make it sound like we gave up the farm for Pippen like we did Barkley. We aren't given up anything for Dwight either

This is not a Barkley trade. A Francis trade. A Gay trade. Or a mcgrady trade

This is straight up cash for a major asset. Hopefully Morey will be shrewd enough to trade him if you and my suspicions are correct that the dude might never reach his glory days and sour on us

Honestly, I'm really not against it, but i'm not thrilled by it. Dwight Howard is really a pain in the ass. So i'm one of those who will really not give a rats ass if he signs or doesn't sign with the Rockets. If he wants to win my heart he better change his attitude and mature.

They are still somewhat of a high profile team. Dwight loves attention. I think Dallas is the team where he will get the most attention. If he chooses Dallas, I think that will be a big reason why.

Houston has more star players than Dallas, so he may get lost in the shuffle on the Rockets kind of like he did on the Lakers. Dallas was also a team on his list to go to when he was in Orlando.

Question... how do we have more stars? We got ONE star in Harden. Lin, Parsons, and Asik are not stars.

i want him to sign with another team just to see how the hype of superstar worshippers are clubbed to death.

i mean come on he ran over rockets before and nobodys making a deal? people who wants howard after how he treated van gundy, how he always puts himself over the team and last year he had with lakers (which led to kobe's serious injury) are total disgrace. you guys dont get the soul of the game.

EVERY STAR ran over the Rockets, because the Rockets were not worth joining with Martin as our top player. Not sure why people get offended by that. I personally don't care about the character of a player as long as he helps us win. While it's nicer if a player is not a complete *******, but character and personality (unless we are talking about idiots who break the law) takes a backseat to having the Rockets win.

As for soul? What soul are we talking about. Soul has gone out of the NBA ages ago when players let go of their pride to win.

Lin doesn't play like a star, but every other definition of a star he is after Linsanity.

Parsons is a budding star. He had a very good playoffs and was invited to the Olympic tryouts.

I do not think Asik is a star.

Dwight Howard has wanted to play with Monta Ellis.

If Dallas can add him, that strengthens their odds.

Dwight should go to Dallas. They will either beat Miami in 6 in the Finals or suck. It's a win/win situation

Would LaMarcus Aldridge and Paul Millsap be safer and better? Are they still available?

do people seriously not want the best center in the league on our team?

you know how many teams would kill for a chance to get Dwight Howard now?
