Someone -- I guess a caller -- was pretending to be "Avery calling in on a cell phone" this morning on 610 AM. It was pretty funny and sounded pretty close to how Avery talks. I can't quote what this "Avery" said, but a big part of it was throwing the answer, "Have you ever. . ." [fill in the blank]? in response to every question he was asked during the mock intereview. It was a pretty good spoof of what this thread is talking about. Did any of you hear it?
That sounds hilarious. I wish I would've heard that. The guy that does the Bill Walton impersonation was pretty good when he first started doing it but has kind of sucked recently, I wonder if it's the same guy.
I don't know who "Avery" was . . . but at the end, the morning crew guys were saying "please hold on so we can get your phone number 'Avery' so we can make sure we can talk with you again when the Mavs are in town later this week." That makes me think he wasn't someone they knew. Hope "Avery" calls again. . . he was very funny!!
