The Rockets and Ime straight up ignore developing him while giving Fred 40 mins a night & giving Reed unearned mins. I would be upset too. It’s no reason for him to not be in the rotation.
When people say this I wonder if they just see his spurts of scoring through the box score only? Whitmore is not scoring in Green's role. Whitmore's will have a different efficiency if he is asked to score agaisnt POA defenses instead of attacking close outs, scoring in open transition where defenders are back peddling etc.
I see him likely gone at some point in the next year, if not sooner… which is sad, because he is genuinely exciting to watch and with some maturing over the next few seasons, the sky is the limit. I really enjoy when he’s out there. can’t wait for him to check in to the game.
You can be frustrated, but you are finally given time lately and have been producing and turning things around. He had a great game and the team seemed happy for him. This is definitely a low IQ move to vent like this after a game like this where he played great and his team won the game and everyone is happy. Just no awareness.

Ime seems like the type of guy that takes this personally while a guy like Kerr would be more understanding of the frustration. It wouldn't surprise me if Ime sees this as an attack to his coaching.
I really don't know why you keep calling Ime incompetent? To me, he is a wonderful upgrade from Silas. And the improvement in results speaks for itself.

He's been held back all year by Ime and he's one of the only reasons the Rockets won this game.... yet he still couldn't get minutes like a 47% TS% Jalen or a 26% TS% FVV.... but if he played as poorly as those scrubs, he'd be benched in seconds and the Rockets lose tonight. Ime's incompetence will have consequences.
100%. I just know that whatever hypothetical trade package is being offered, Cam is going to be in it. He probably wants to be gone. From his POV, Jalen got signed for 2 more years so that starting 2 guard is not for the taking. Brooks is here for 2 more years. Amen's mins are locked up, Tari's mins are locked up. Cam's probably asking himself how is he going to get himself a deal if he won't get the opportunity he feels like he deserves?

Life is not fair. He was still in the wrong to react like this after this game. You can’t excuse it just because you don’t like Jalen. The way to more minutes is doing what he just did with his play. This venting interview after this game is the last thing he needs to do if he wants more minutes.
He's a very good defensive coach, but his rotations and lineups will prevent the Rockets from ever winning anything. Tonight would game been 3 losses in a row if Cam didn't go off... but the preference will always be given to FVV and jalen no matter what. His incompetence in those areas is what I'm referring to
