The Rockets have a hard time against long athletic teams.....
The Rockets have a hard time against teams with shooting 4s......
The Rockets have a hard time against teams with good pgs.....

hmmmmm, I think we are in some trouble.

Yes we were.....we were a lot better......with them.

The chemistry was off a bit, but we were right there against a lot of great teams with them.....

Exactly. Sure AB and Yao would help, but we werent exactly winning with those guys either.

Well you can't even count on Yao for 82 games. Also while we were in close games with better teams...we also was in a close game tonight. They always fall short of victory. This has been the one consistent theme all year even in the preseason. 4th qtr comes, clutch time...and the team just fades away.

AB would have helped, but for the short time Yao was in the game tonight, he did nothing. He couldn't get post position on McGee, he couldn't rebound against that length and quickness, nor could he defend McGee or Blatch effectively.

    You assume we would.

Again, we were not winning with them either.

    You say
It's not like we got blown out against Washington. Rockets were up 85-84 or 86-85,a few minutes left, Washington goes on a 8-0 or 9-0 run and...we saw how it ended.

That is 100% the reason I have been arguing with the Lowrianians that Brooks has to start...

They were packing the paint, we need guys that can shoot the 3ball to take advantage.....when they do that.....

Ish hit a couple, but he is not known as a 3ball threat...AB is....

The rox lost to a Washington team with a pretty good cast of players and the probable Roy tonight. Like us I think washington is a Better team than their record suggests and we stayed in the game for the most part without ab and Yao so it's not that disappointing of a loss even though I still wanna destroy things.and with the Yao injury well just have to wait till tomorrow to find out so these forecasts of the rox tanking this season and Yao retiring r WAYY too premature

Near the end of the game, coach took out Chase and replaced him with Shane and put in Hayes at center. Not only were we unable to score, we couldn't stop the Wizards from scoring. Ish gets taken out, prob due to a turn over, but to me that turn over was due to Ish not having anyone to pass it too. Chuck was out there with him. Shane was there. When we posted up Scola he was faced with the same problem, no one to pass it to. So Ish sits and Kyle comes in for him and did nothing but turn the ball over and miss shots himself. He hustled sure, so did Ish and Bud. I don't care if Bud is struggling, he's still better than Shane at this time. When I saw Shane leave the court, I'm not lying, I had hoped he was not going to return. The Rockets got back in the game...then went to the 'vets' (because it's veterans day?), but our vets smoked the game away. Come on Man!

He's not locked in as he has an expiring contract which is a different situation.

I have a feeling Ish is a better shooter than lowry. But we definately miss AB out there. Lowry has no business closing a game coming back from that much time off.

And an athletic front-court measuring at least 6'8.
