YOU yourself obviously thought so to even pose a question. so we know your answer.

tmac has his injuries drama EVERY year. it never affected the team before. why would it now?

winning record, yes. but we're clearly under-achieving for whatever reason. there should be no denying for that.

How do you know that is what I thought? Maybe I am a sane person, who thought it was posible and wanted to get the opinion of everyone else to clear it up in my own mind?

You are an idiot just like most of the people here. You and alot of other people should jsut **** of to Dallas, better yet **** off the Utah!

Yao had an open Mcgrady and an open Artest. He should have passed it out. The Wizards knew the ball was going to Yao, so why give it to him  [/COLOR]

That's yesterday's news dude. We're not the same without a backup center.

Our second unit is definitely energetic and passionate on the court, but without any size,we only could resort to playing run-and-gun when Yao's on the bench, which actually is our weak point.

Wow,I'm of the exact same opinion! :D Right now Mt Mutombo's considering the offer by the Rockets GM Daryl Morey.Hope he thinks twice and put his foot down on this one with Rockets toward the end of his career.

I don't mind Yao shooting the last shot. Like Jordan once said, he missed dozens of potential winning shots in his career but none of them kept him from taking the last shot. So as long as McGrady, Artest and Yao continue to be unafraid to fail, I'm fine with any of them taking the final shot.

This game was terrible. The whole team really didn't show up for 3 quarters. Our perimeter defense has taken a nose dive and not even Battier has helped it get better. Not once did I feel the Wizards felt obstructed in getting to their sweet spots. Whoever is in charge of orchestrating the defense for games this year has have been doing a crappy job.

On a side note, I am tired of the starting unit not moving or slashing on offense. Even Yao who is moves a whole lot more than the other four players isn't moving enough. How about the starters getting the ball on the move again? Too much one-on-one by everyone.

this is definitely that low point that everyone thought every other pathetic game was, this is it right here, i blame this on adelman

bench plays with fire and he takes them out for mac and yao who did nothing

just pathetic all around, even the commentary was pathetic, everything from the players to the beer salesman was pathetic tonight

The strange thing for me is that the players with hot hands should take more shots. How comes Scola and Battier have only 8 and 3 while Mcgrady, Yao and Alston have 17, 14 ,10 shots?

i had to work hard to find decent tickets to this game for whatever reason, and when all that hard work amounts to me watching this shi*** ass game where the players dont even look like they care is just plain frustrating and how come landry can never get a god damn call

The entire starting line-up played terrible. Yao was the most disappointing. Tracy played bad, but was not as disappointing, neither was Artest.

Hopefully, this would be the lowest point for Yao, in terms of the disappointment to the fans. I am sure there will be games when he will score fewer points or pull down fewer rebounds. But these past two games, he was so disappointing.

Coach should use the last two games as the reason for changing the line-up. In other words, AB should be playing the starting PG.

    Hi Guys,

Boy, I guess this was a good time to be out of town training so I was not able to pickup the games at all. I missed the last 4 games but I didn't miss a thing!

Sounds like the team is bottoming out. Injury is an issue, yet again and they just don't look like they can beat anybody (Wizards - case in point).

But life continues and while they looked terrible now. It's really not the point anyways. The question has always been, will they make the playoffs and will they advance? As terrible as they are RIGHT NOW, they are still a playoff team and with some luck and health, likely to get by the 1st round.

Now, we all were hoping they do better than that but I will take a 2nd round exit just about now.

But if all 3 big guns are healthy (they are NOT right now), then they can go further than what all of you expect now.

Keep the faith. Its not like Yao broke his foot again or Tmac hurt his back or something :)

yao is still developing and i really dont think he has reached his
peak...he's still hesitant with his moves and once he stops being
methodical he will begin to dominate on a nightly basis....right now,
coaching seems to be a problem as adelman has too many options and he
wants to please everyone....tonight he shouldve went to artest but
most likely they wont call a foul if artest bulls his way in so this
means go to Yao who is a 53% shooter...the fact yao decided to fade
away rather than go in is beyond me...like you guys said, it's innate
for him to play a finesse game which is unfortunate because he's full
of potential...all i know is that when tmac and rafer came in, our
offense stopped moving and things became stagnant...id rather see
brooks and landry in there with artest, yao, and maybe mcgrady or
another shooter like battier or barry....hopefully things get better
but the more i look at it, the more i see bad mix of inconsistent
    players....

this is yao's 7th year. you tell me another player who suddenly becomes cluthc in their 7th year. and yao still has not played as good as he had down the stretch of 05-06 season (THAT was his peak). even in december where he put up 24 and 10, that's a great month for yao.

but in 05-06 to end the year, he put up something like 27 and 11. that was the yao at his best.

yao's still a great player, but he's not gonna improve anymore.

How did we lose to a 4-23 team without its best player?
