The game was lost when our starters were subbed in for the last stretch. They just looked confused and unsure of themselves out there. No energy, no chemistry. Yao had his worst game of the season. And I know McGrady recorded a bunch of assists, but still, the offense didn't feel good at all when he and Alston were in there. The only time there was any kind of flow was with the second unit in that seond half run, and Adelman should've kept Brooks and Barry in there even after Scola went out. Man, this team has hit rock bottom. Can't get any lower than this. What they do in the next month is going to define their season, IMO.
until everybody shows up to play (mac and artest) everynite the team chemistry on offense is goin 2 look more like it did tonite with tracy and yao both not able to get anything goin. regardless, RA went to the starters way to late in the 4th, even tho the 2nd team brought us back, they are the ones that dug us that whole with 4 artest turnovers alone in the 1st half. if the starters got in 3 minutes earlier they would have had a good enough rythem to finish the game strong, not stiff off the bench
adelman should have put in brooks and barry on that last play and run the exact same play that spurs ran the other day against phoenix. too bad adelman is no popovich.
This game sucked. rox deserved to lose. my only complaint was the no call when dasungalaWTF? hacked landry
Compared to previous rockets teams, the reasons why this team win: 1. much better talent and a much deeper bench 2. playing remaining JVG defense, with the addition of a prime defensive player in Ron 3. riding on the inside presence of Yao Ming, and basically paint or 3 pointer the reasons why this team lose: 1. lack of offensive strategies other than posting Yao. When Yao is off, team lose. 2. lack of discipline which results in poor shot selection and percentage, mainly by TMac, Artest, and Alston. 3. no playbook to follow which results in turnovers and opponent fast break 4. the remainder of JVG defense is wearing thinner and thinner.
Does anyone thing the T-Mac saga affected the team tonight? All those meetings should have been kept behind closed doors with no media. Instead it gets out there which, may have affected the team being focused on the game.
TMac's ordeal is just too distracting for our team, at some point you got to cut your losses and move on.
Meh shots just weren't falling + too many turnovers. I wouldnt call it a lack of effort, its just one of those games.
How can we name this is the contender team?Rocket are lucky if can get to playoff and will knock off again in the first round. Kenny might be right that TMac and Yao should not be in the same team... It's really get me mad, and GET RED over my face!
Im thinking how many people think this team could end up in a winning streak of 22 games and win at least 50 games really BLAME ADELMAN
T-Mac, if you are not healthy, just rest up, we need you at playoff. please don't play one game, and rest for another two, so we never gonna have a stable starting lineup。 Everytime, we have had a line change, we played like chickens running around without their heads. This team have no chemistry so far!! Yao played a bad game, but he deserve a break, so far, he has been pretty consistent since coming back from a injury.
are you seriously blaming this on the tmac's drama? we've had this EVERY year and it was even just as bad as last yr when people thought he faked the knee injury. this team just sucked tonight. simple as that.
i seriousy question adelman's thinking. it's comon sense. isn't it common sense to go with a guy who is hot in the quarter (artest) or just made a shot and had been a good playmaker all game (tracy) or even run a play for scola. instead he ran a play for yao who just came in ice cold.
Are you a god damn loony? Did I state it was the case or did I pose the question? That mark I just point indicaes a question. You are a god damn moron!
