This game was a joke. We were 42-52 from the free throw line and lost?!?!?!? C'mon that was ridiculous! The refs tried to give us the game and we still couldn't beat the WARRIORS... I am desperately hoping that this is just a letdown after yesterday's tough loss, but i'm not convinced yet. Our defense is abysmal and Rick Adelman is making some very questionable decisions. I would like to see Jordan Hill sometime this season, not to mention PPatterson. Lowry needs to come back now or we will be staring 0-3 in the face! :(

One things for sure. Battier got burnt worse than toast and the avalanche started early. Monta had a career night on Battier before he was removed from the game. That much is sure.

We weren't blown out because KMart saved our butts over and over again.

I though Jared Jeffries played very well.

That's exactly how you see teams kill them in the 2nd half. They weed out what's killing them and GS dies out. Their usual 15 pt leads vs elite teams (at half lets say)usually turns into one of 2 things: OT loss or they end up getting smacked by 10-15.

I agree. What really pissed me off, is when Ellis kept knocking down shot after shot after shot, and all Adelman and his coaching staff would do is shake their head and put it down.. I mean come on!!! Make the obvious adjustments.

You double team Ellis at all costs, and make someone else try and make shots.

Basketball is a game of adjustments... Coming out of the half we looked destructive to ourselves. I mean a coaching staff of 7 freaking coaches with all of these veterans should be able to put something together. RIGHT?

Brooks did not play well tonight, but the team could have won, and Adelman could have helped them by actually coaching instead of watching.

    Terrible coaching tonight, simply horrible.

I'm not sure where we get this unbelievable idea of completely changing the offensive identity when it matters the most... but we really need to stop feeding AB the ball on isos in the 4th quarter. This team was built to run a certain offense, and to take that away from them in the most important part of the game is just completely asinine.

Curry is by all accounts as good a shooter or better than Ellis. You double team Ellis, Curry is gonna hit it more often than not.

If we have to be completely healthy to beat teams we think we should beat we are going to be in a lot of trouble. We are the ROCKETS after all, we will never be completely healthy.

Maybe it's been discussed already, but what happened to Brad Miller?

We should have started Lee on Monta or Budinger. Lee was all over him but by then? It was too late. He was on fire. He was blazing hot by then. Nothing we could have done about Brooks on mighty mouse. Mighty Mouse got hot as a result of Monta lighting it up and then it couldnt be stopped. Lowry is needed for that thing with Brooks.

And? Some of those rebounds came right to him and he'd have to have no hands to not catch those.

How many uncontested rebounds did Lee and Biedrins get? How many times do we see one of their guys just drive in the lane for a uncontested layup? This is the same **** as last year when Hayes played Center.

What makes him so special that he HAS to be on the floor, even if he's playing a position he clearly should not play? He's undersized for a PF!

I love Hayes but we play him too much. He's a situational guy, not some guy that should get 27mpg.

Also...Rockets really should consider starting Chase...His defense was much better than Shane's tonight as well as his offense.
