    Dear Morey,
Clearly there are tons of better coaches on this board that can coach better then RA. So why don't you go hire them?

You can't beat a team that's shooting as well as they were...a good
chunk of their points didn't even come
on quality looks...they just couldn't miss.

    DD,

you're blaming Stern on the Rockets lackluster (no defense) play? Seriously, what did you see tonight? I saw a team with a lot of offensive weapons incapable of making a stop the entire game, albeit ellis and curry couldn't miss. But still, this game was very winnable if this team could have played defense. What's your take?

And now I realize that I sound like an ass.

The production from Chuck was a huge plus. I don't know, the way Monta was going, he would have gotten 40 with Bruce Bowen on him...

Please do not use this as an excuse. This was pitiful coaching tonight that did us in. Where was Jordan Hill? Brad Miller?

If we are two deep at every position, we shouldn't have to worry about traveling to China or playing in a back to back.

We started to get it back together for spurts when they took Battier out. Monta was still hot but we got close again. Maybe he can guard the sF position and not the leagues best scorers anymore? That would be ok as long as he doesnt go near Kobe or Monta anymore. He isnt fast enough for guards if you are gonna start him. Lee needs more minutes. At point guard and along side Martin and Brooks. jeffries needs more time with Hill in the game to go real big so guards cant lay it up on the inside.

Bad news: Absolutely awful third quarter by Brooks
Good news: Absoultely no way Brooks plays as badly as that again this season.

They are the best announcers in the NBA.

We lost to a very good team that never lost their composure. No real shame in that.

Numbers are deceiving cause we have to outscore them, and the game is pretty up tempo, so scola's 36 16 isn't that impressive.
we are just bad on defense, second half was better, at least we are contending shots, but the first half was just.... giving up open jumpers after jumpers, we have to find a way to form a balanced lineup....

These statements piss me off because, in the west every game counts. We can't be 48 win team and make the playoffs. We need 51+ to make 8th seed.

When you are leading by 8 points and crumble in the 4th quarter with poor play. A game that could of easily been won by us, its disheartening.

When you expected to win against a team and than proceed to have them shoot 60%, miss defensive rotations, miss layups, get out rebounded by supposedly one of the weaker teams in the west.

How can you not be pissed. At the end of the season, when we are sitting at 48 wins and 1 game for 8th seed, these type of games haunt you when you can't close games out or beat teams that you are suppose to beat.

i can deal with Monta going into beast mode
i can deal with not having enough defense without yao and lowry

But i can't deal with Adelman putting chuck at center and refusing to play Miller and Hill. If i'm not mistaken, we usually beat the warriors playing our game, not theirs. Why did we adjust to them before tip off? We needed someone to knock monta down 10 times and hit curry with a few hard picks. Those guys cpable of that were on the bench. We also needed to counter their "twin towers", but we couldnt, because guess who was sitting on the bench. Teams that believe in themselves don't adjust significantly to other teams, they play their game and Houston didnt. Any time chuck scores and scola has to try to block shots isn't our game.

It's still early and the last team you want to play after last night is this one...we'll see what they have against Denver...

Oh I agree, I blame Adelman completely for not making OBVIOUS adjustments.

But still a tough schedule to start.

GS is gawd awful...we should have killed them....all we needed to do was double team Curry and Ellis..and zone off the weakside.

They would have wilted faster than old lettuce.

It baffled me when I read that Hayes was starting as center.

I thought those days were over.

Didn't Hayes lose like 40 pounds so he could strictly play the 4 spot?

    He can't play center anymore!

Why did we pay Brad 5 million dollars for nothing!

Start him in back to backs!

    Sheesh!

Also, WTF did Hill do to you! Play the man! Don't make the same mistake you made with Gerald Wallace!

Who don't bother with the cliff notes. They kept on going on how Yao fouled out against the Lakers.
