So what's the defense going to do about Carmelo, Billups, CP3, West, Duncan, Ginobli, Blair and Parker ???? Will coming home is going to fix the biggest problem ( defense ) ?? oh yeah, the game against the spurs is in San Antonio I wouldn't call that a home game; we're hated there you know.. and Is Yao going to Play against the Spurs when the next night they play here against the T-wolves ?? don't forget no back-to-backs but they need to sell tickets so I'm anticipating Yao playing here and not in san antonio...

Folks have good reason to be worked up - Brooks' defense has been alarmingly bad, and we knew it was bad to start with.

But we look good overall. Yao will improve, Patterson will develop, Lowry will return. This team is going to be just fine.

Because Chuck Hayes Scored 16pts, he Played above the Rim  and Played 36+ Minutes... In other words because Adelman knows offense but .... well let me not comment on that, people don't like us to be critical here..

didn't catch the game - did Coach RA put Lee on Ellis at anytime to slow him down? I thought his defensive skills were part of the reason we brought him in.

NO ONE could stop Ellis, Curry, Lee or Wright ...... and Adelman Never double teamed Ellis, Hence 134 pts

I'm surprised both teams didn't score over 150. The defense for both teams was non-existent. If the other team is scoring like the Warriors were, Hayes and Battier don't need to be getting that many minutes. They weren't stopping anyone from scoring at will.

@STEIN_LINE_HQ Monta Ellis' 46? Most points on Opening Night since MJ's 54 on Nov. 3, 1989 ... same night Stockton had 19 dimes (J-Kidd had 18 last night)

Wow, just like how the Texans make opposing QB's have career days, we do to.

Last night the Warriors were "ON." Nobody in the NBA could have beaten them.

Did you not watch the game? Its not like they were driving to the hole and getting lay ups. They were making everything from outside. It seemed impossible to stop them. We did have a hand in their face. What else can you do?

Lee did a good job on him. He was by far our best defensive matchup against Ellis.

This is not true, Kobe would not have scored 81 if he wasn't going up against a crap d like the Raptors...Ellis would not have gone for 46 if he wasn't going up against a crap D like the Rockets.

What about game 1, where we let Shannon freaking Brown and Steve freaking Blake torch us?

Stayed in front of him, forced him to take contested jumpers.

On the other hand, he was not able to use his mind to redirect the path of the ball in flight to force the miss, so in that sense I suppose he did not play good defense.

He's not wise in the ways of the force yet. He must still be a paduon, not yet able to master the Jedi mind trick.

    haha, good one, durvasa!
