Lol at everyone having a meltdown over this loss. I know people were getting a little hopeful about possibly getting back into the playoff picture again, but the truth is, everything has to go just about perfect for it to happen. Nights like this where a sucky team looks like the best team in the league just happen sometimes. It's just more costly when it happens us because of the deep hole we've already dug ourselves into.

I really don't think we played poorly, with the exception of AB. Minnesota was shooting a lot of tough contested jumpers and just could not miss. Tough break.

I'm still gonna hope for the playoffs because at this point we have too many wins for a high lotto pick. If we defy expectations and it happens, I'll be thrilled. If not, it's not something to go AWOL over. We're not going to be stuck in this state of mediocrity forever like some of you drama queens insist. So just sit back, try to be patient, and chill.

Last 3 games, no Brooks: we win
Games before last 3, with Brooks: we've sucked
Tonight at home against the Timberwolves, who are on the 2nd night of a back to back, with Brooks: we lose

Come on guys, enough with the knee-jerking.

Tough loss for sure, but when we beat a team that over .500 I'm sure they dont go into meltdown.

Upsets happen now and then, we just need to regroup and come back strong.

You never know; he (Adelman) might have been told from the front office to play him.

This. It's refreshing to watch a pg who would rather find the open man than jack up a 30 footer.

If the T-Wolves want to trade Flynn for AB at this point I say we take it.

    Its a sad loss indeed.

But I have to say, Lee scores 23 on 9 of 15 and people are ragging on him? Good grief!

My guess is that there has been a mandate from the front office to play Brooks as much as possible until the trade deadline and pray that he snaps out of this horrendous funk in order to salvage at least some trade value. :(

He played a good game, but I don't think he can get enough grief for that terrible shot at the end. Down 3, still time on the clock, and he shoots a contested, fading 2-point shot? That was just about the worst shot I could imagine for that possession.

As for why we lost the game, I don't see Brooks having nearly as much to do with it as our terrible performance rebounding the ball. Sure, Minn is a great rebounding team, but this game would have been no contest if we could have stopped some of those offensive rebounds. Scola with 2 rebounds? Terrible. Box out, dammit.

Im tired of Adelman not knowing how to sub his players, it's not the players that are causing us to lose, it's the decisions of the Head Coach that is causing us to lose. New Coach please! We all know this team can score, and loet's not give all the credit to Rick, without Rick and with JVG, I still believe this team is going to score a high amount of points, maybe not as much, but as near ppg. We need a damn defensive coach minded to coach the Houston Rockets, not an Offensive minded coach with no defensive mind in his Mind. Houston bring back JVG!

I'm tired of watching Adelman not knowing how to manage a close game. Houston trailed by 3 with 16 seconds remaining, no time outs remaining. Our only hope was a 3 pt basket or a very quick two. We run off 8 secs and take a contested, low percentage 2 pt shot. Watch the close games that we lead late, we struggle to close out our opponent or we let them take us to over-time.

I'm actually more tired watching RA try to manage this team. Quit worrying about your set rotation, ride the hot hand & sit the players that are not producing. What kind of message are you sending? Brooks has been terrible, yet you play him 20 ugly minutes. Ish Smith was instrumental in the Denver win and he never gets off the bench. You are getting destroyed on the boards, yet you go small most of the game. Battier hits 2 early 3 pointers and the team thinks it can jack up 3's all night long (7-28). Did anybody see Brooks jack up that very long 3 pointer? Please take control of this team, if some players aren't following your instructions, put them on the bench. What really bothers me is that I see a coach that is not being honest and not doing what's best for this team. Quit playing favorites or not playing players that could help this team win. I can't believe that Williams can't get any time, maybe you didn't want him, but Morey traded a first round pick for him. He has shown flashes, but you continue to bury him on the bench.

Lol, no. 1. JVG couldn't get a high-scoring team with Yao and McGrady, how's he supposed to do it with this bunch? 2. This is a fast transition team, and JVG could never get a team to run. 3. JVG had a good defensive team in part because he sacrificed parts of his offense to be sure his defense was good (by favoring defensive players for PT, by sacrificing fastbreaks to ensure the defensive rebound, and by giving up offensive rebounds to defend the break). If JVG could even coach this team with having an aneurism, the offense would be a shambles. We might not be able to play a lick of defense now, but at least appreciate the beautiful offensive game Adelman has brought us.
