I don't think starting a thread to state the obvious is a good idea. It's like a thread titled "The sky is blue". So what? Of course the Rockets miss Yao.

oh my god, for the 100000000000000000th time, we know we miss yao. we will miss his presence every game. now let's stop bringing up that point.

i was proud of the rockets in this game. 4 games in 5 nights. b2b, yet we still fought back HARD. that's all i asked for.

tmac didn't shoot well, but he played with a lot of heart tonight. bjax continued to step up, along with battier.

but my god, rafer, scola are just HORRIBLE at finishing open shots.

but i'm confident. i think it took us a while to get into it b/c it was a b2b. we adjusted defensively. next time, we'll be better defensively.

Rockets, as a team, should be forced to watch Stodumiere hit 20 in a row from the stripe before every game.

    Just burn in the pain.

we put up some points on the board but this game was never in our grasp with Shaq and Amare they will dominate us all the time.

But at least he helped the team with 9 asists and 8 or something rebounds. Pretty good game for him.

Two words after this game: Defense Sucks. Of course you can change it to Rafer Sucks.

But at least we did fight. We made it interesting and we showed Suns it wouldn't be easy for them. I like it. Of course it was a tough loss cause now we are 5th but now we have 2 days off and some easier games comming up.

It was a 5 on 8 game. We still managed only lose by 9.

    Go Rockets!!

Being the 4th game in 5 day I'll take this loss, Suns didn't impress me too much...I notice that Tracy get more foul call while jump-shooting than driving...a little strange no?

i don't know... the 8-4 rest of away, sounds pretty horrible, with how close the west is. we need all the wins we can get.

What's troubling is that he got those 30 points on 31 shot attempts. And the Rockets played another game where their assist numbers are down again compared to the best games of the streak: less than 20 tonight.

A superstar shooting guard should not shoot 58% from the charity stripe - not saying that this was why we lost...

    Amare, 20/20 - amazing...

2/3 without Yao is great. Go Rockets!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I wonder how Bjax would do at the start. That would be an interesting mix to see Raf come in with a surge in the 2nd? Just an idea.

Raf needs to toss that ball better. Then again, I was comparing him to Nash the whole time.

To me it was like Rafer missed more shots than T-Mac, seriously, if the Rockets had a shot at winning this game it was thanks to T-Mac. Rafer & Luther gave the game away. The refs helped the Suns too.

Frustrating loss, we could have easily won.

should have traded Tmac when we had the chance.

he is perfectly worthless against the good teams.

This is the kind of game that reaffirms why posters should no longer entertain silly ideas to trade Yao for Marion. Phoenix will be tough in the playoffs due to their physical frontline, Shaq and Amare completely dominated both ends of the floor.

What the hell is up with Rafer? Jacking jumpers with Amare in his face with very little time off the shot clock. Coach Adelman needs to remind Rafer that he isn't a scorer, that he isn't a shoot-first PG.

Luther seems to be struggling mightily lately.

man we need a big inside. bad... cato's not looking as that ridiculous an idea anymore...

i'll give t-mac credit for taking it to ankleless grant hill and having a great game. but the turning point was when he got that fifth foul on shaq and then missed his free throws. i'm not going to diss him for that, but it seemed like that hit whatever psychological switch he has and he reverted back into long-shot mcgrady. he's gotta suck it up and keep after it.

that game wasnt even that bad for the rockets, the fact that we only lost by 9 and they shot an amazing 76 percent in the first half tells me we could have easily won that game. we would have won if they shot 55 percent in the first half instead of what they did

How could Woods lose track of 300 lbs Shaq? Geeze, Woods still the same defenseless ass. A 7 footer that can grab the rebounds that hit his head and push his opponents out 2 feet will get pay a million bucks in NBA for a 5 minute job.

Good job for the team. They fought back. A 2-3 week isnt that bad considering they ran on fumes to pull out 22 straight. I am happy with the Rockets.
