Why are you here? You aren't a Rockets fan. Every post you make is b****ing about McGrady. It's pathetic. Go watch your team in Toronto.
I love people who say it's not on any one person of a team that the team lost, yet immediately after say TMAC needs to be traded because he doesn't have what it takes. If ANY of you out there think our problem is with TMAC, then that's sad. It's pretty obvious we lack 1) Size and 2) a true PG at the moment. We definitely do NOT need to focus on our SG's at the moment. GET A CLUE.
Wait, so people are dogging T-Mac for 11-33? And just last week fans were getting on him for his 4-11 performance saying they rather see him jack up 30 shots than 11 shots. You guys are funny.
acceptable to whom? people with low standards? adelman sucks, head sucks, rafer sucks, scola sucks, etc. let's face it. the rockets just plain sucks against the better teams, period. that we can agree on. I would place 70% of the blame for the recent string of crushing defeats on Adelman, for his continued pattern of bizarre subbing decisions all this week. It is like he is TRYING to make the Rockets lose on PURPOSE. I don't believe it is humanly possible for anyone to be that stupid by ACCIDENT.
I tried to tell people that the Suns would be very dangerous with Shaq. Everyone laughed at me and said trading Marion was the worst thing they could do. People gave the trade maybe 2 weeks before they wrote it off. They said Shaq was done. Wrong. Shaq may have declined but he is still a beast in the paint. Even at this age, nobody can guard him one on one.
Not really, we are without Yao and even with a horrible start and Amare and Shaq shooting FT better than Nash, we manage to make a game out of it. They will get destroy buy any team good in Pick and Roll, Amare and Shaq defense is pathetic. The Rocket expose this after the 2nd quarter and have them both in foul trouble the rest of the game. Imaging what will be with Yao is in the line up, T-mac and Yao play one of the best P&R in the NBA a P&R that is almost unstoppable, I can see Shaq fouling out in the 3rd quarter.
We got dominated up front with the size of Amare and Shaq..this should not be a surprise to anyone. They exploited the weakness in our roster right now. Everyone calling for Tmacs head needs to relax..this is a tough matchup for us and we should have expected it..
Shaq and Amare make a good matchup for the Rcokets with Deke/Yao but without Yao, Deke wears down towards the end of the game. Most fans knew that once Yao went down, this matchup would be one of the worst for the Rockets, who are very small without that extra center.
As of now, the Spurs are matched up with the Suns. It'll be a fun matchup, Duncan vs Shaq. I don't want to see either of those two guys in the first round. I rather deal deal with the Hornets. I think Landry and Scola can keep David West out of the paint, but there is no chance against Shaq or Duncan. I just want McGrady to get the monkey off his back for not making the 2nd round.
Well, even KG couldn't keep West out of the paint last night. I think the best matchup for us would still be the Spurs, or even the Lakers. I thought we had a chance last night when we were down 10 after the 3rd, but Adelman came out with McGrady on the bench in the 4th. By then I knew it was over. Then aloha, the Suns go up 18 with TMac sitting and the ever-wise Adelman brings him on.
But you know at least Adelman tries to keep McGrady fresh. He doesn't use him the whole 2nd half anymore. I'm ok with that. You have to be able to cut a lead even with you bench. Even when we cut the lead to 8 I really didn't belive we could win. It was too late. We should have done that in the 1st half when we allowed them to shoot 75%
He did it at the wrong times IMO. You know the Suns are going to come out trying to finish you off at the beginning of the 4th and you definitely shouldn't counter with an offense whose main guy was to be Luther Head. Let McGrady go out there, ride it out, and if you're down 20 6 minutes into the 4th, bring him off. Don't save him and let a big lead turn into a bigger one, and hope that a better-rested TMac can get you out of the hole. Don't let the hole get so big in the first place...
We started the game badly and was caught napping in the first quarter. We tried hard and made decent comeback but the hole dugged earlier was too deep. Rafer is in a slump currently and I hope he could get out of it soon.
