How to guard Nash and Amare's pnr? We didnt figure that out all night long. We won 3 quarters actaully.

The next two are must wins.

Don't blame my Tracy if he didn't attack the basket, he is just little scared.

Don't blame my Tracy if the team lost a game, as long as he has neat stats... or even not.

Don't say my Tracy has no heart, don't you know he take every game just as seriously as pickup games he played in his backyard.

If you don't adore my Tracy, STFU!!!!

    Right?

This, my friends, is an example of someone who looks at the box score and doesn't watch the game. If AntiSonic can come out and give McGrady props after this game, that should tell you something.

T-Mac had 30/9/8 at Phoenix, and kept the team in the game despite the Suns shooting 76% in the first half and Amare going 20-20 from the FT line.

There were a few good things about this game, and T-Mac, despite his FG %, was one of them.

Being a doctor, I don't need anyone to tell me that backtroubles are generally long term and don't go away. That being said, hes been trouble free for the last year and half (The therapy used by that guy in Waco intrigues me). Tmac should be good for the next 3 and a half to 4 years which is how long our window is at the championship with our core group anyways.

Nobody is expecting Tmac to be dominating till hes 35.... if they do then thats just unrealistic.

One last thing before I go to bed...he is less of a scorer by choice? When’s the last time he had 50+ points, lets be honest we’ve needed him to take over games in the past due to Yao being out, but he hasn’t been able to do it. Face it, he’s on a decline at friggin 28.

so because he hasnt scored 50 points in a game this season he is on a decline?
Last time i checked he has 4 or 5 forty point games this season. Im pretty sure that is a good amount more than most players have had in this league minus lebron and kobe.

When was the last time you saw Mac take 40 shots a game? I'm sure he could if he wanted to... all he has to do is come down and jack it up. He scored 47 against the Jazz earlier this season. That close enough for yah?

um dude, last yr he avg 28, 6, 6 when yao was out and led us to a 20-12 record.

this yr, he's averaging 24, 6, 6 leading us to a 11-3 record without yao.

he's on the decline. ok you got that point down. BUT HE'S STILL THE 3RD BEST PERIMETER PLAYER IN THE LEAGUE.

my god, get that point through your head.

Living in Canada has given me a great perspective on VCs career. I've watched at least 80% of his games as a Raptor and followed him fairly closely when he moved to Jersey.

He is not clutch. Last time I checked, he shot 3 for 19? in the final game in the series against the Cavs and turned the ball over when he attempted to drive to the right and slipped. Hes missed countless big shots including a game 7 miss against the Knicks (when he went ot his graduation).

Hes no longer even the best player on his own team. If RJ is better then you, then you dont deserve to be mentioned in the same breath as Tmac and DWade. LBJ and Kobe are obviously a cut above.

Mac = makes the team better
VC = out to get mine (and insane highlights)
thats a big difference. I'm sure if you polled the leagues players they'd all agree that Tmac is MUCH better then VC.

Stop changing the point - i'm not saying VC is better than McGrady,

I'm saying he's an amazing player in his own right and you are portraying him as a scrub.

I never said hes a scrub. I'm saying he is going to have a big time drop off in the next two years. Why do you think he took a paycut to sign that 4 year 60 million dollar contract?

A team would be crazy to pay him near max dollars for the future. Kevin Martin would give you 95% of the production for half the price.

i like the post-game comments from the team, esp. tracy.

"It's the NBA, man," Tracy McGrady said. "You're going to have nights when you face a team like Phoenix on a back-to-back. We've beaten good teams like this on a back-to-back before. It is what it is. They have to do the same thing at times. Everybody has to pretty much play the same schedule. It's just a matter of going out there and having a mental toughness."

also adelman said the same thing, but also mentioned we just gotta play better.

i think the team is still very confident. we'll see how this season pans out.

Does anyone else think the NBA Officials have something against McGrady? I mean every one that guards him is alowed to hold there hand out and push him when he drives. They want let people do that against DWade, Kobe, Lebron, etc. I mean some of those fouls Amare were getting called for him happen to McGrady every possession. Dont get me started on how they ref Yao. I think onetime I saw a guy pull a gun on Yao and shoot him in the leg and the ref said "play on".

Rafer played great from the 3 point line, and only went 6/15 from the field. You guys are making it sound like he went 1-10.

He did chuck up some disgusting floaters at the basket though.

Fun Fact: 2 games in a row where Battier hasn't made a 3.

From the last four games I have noticed that Coach A is not a great game tactition, at least not every game. He has a tendancy to clear the court and bring in a second five. He has a tendancy to over play his starters.
He does not leave role players who are HOT on the floor long enough
Our Power Forwards need training on how to defend against an athletic Power Forwards. Asking Tracy McGrady to be the Playmaker and leading scorer is just too much for him to do to a high standard.
Rafer is inconsistant and not a playmaker. A Playmaker is needed!
Mutombo, sorry you are past it and should retire and enjoy your other life. You have had a great career and have been well paid!
This would ensure that Morey finds a decent big man to help Yao.
Morey we have too many SMALL players, who become reluctant to shoot every time they are guarded by a player who is 6ins taller! :(
