that's why RA sat him in the 4th. TA was hot in the 1st qtr

Suns' bigs are a tough cover for us though, and their speed neutralizes our speed. We've no answer for them this season

so K-mart is not as reliable as a scorer as we once taught? lets trade him for joe johnson or dwayne wade or kobe bryant

Suns are a lock for a first round exit. Much to do about nothing. Didn't see the game, but C-Bud is "coming on" at the end of this season. Worth noting. He may have "clicked" into place which is very encouraging. Remember, AB went through a similar process. Scola is a beast; he has been the most consistent Rocket.

Yep and hopefully that doesn't happen very often.

I haven't watched the Suns this year. I had forgotten just how good Steve Nash and Amare are. Good try for the Rockets, but Stoudamire is a beast in the post. Micro surgery hasn't slowed him down that much.

The Knicks chick's comment on Jefferies got some points. I want to see how Hill performed in clutch time but RA gave me Jefferies. And I found Jefferies did nothing.

Ariza: 7'2 inch wingspan...but sometimes just can't seem to get the ball to reach to his teammate.

That's the problem with Kevin Martin. If he's not scoring or isn't shooting well, he can't really do much else to help the team win.

Scola: He's got to have the most points scored in the paint in a season while playing below the rim.

STUPID refs took us RIGHT out of the game. All bad calls. What topped it all was Brooks getting a tech for clapping his hands...

Don't worry. Phoenix aren't going very far into the playoffs.

Not really. It's considered two different issues in B-Ball.

For example, M. Jordan was a scorer. Steve Novak is a shooter.

If MJ was not shooting well, he still manages to get his points with put-backs, drives to the basket and foul shots.

K-Mart was not hitting his wide opent shots nor was he "scoring" and therefore ended up being nonproductive for the team today.

IMO K-Mart is not a clear starter quality SG for our particular team. I think the job is still open. Have to wait and see how he interacts with Yao. I predict Scola's scoring and rebounding will drop-off again when Yao returns. Jordan Hill may turn out to be the Gem in that trade. He could fit in very nicely next to Yao.

Didn't see the game, but the Yahoo recap mentioned something about Martin being sick.

Inhaling too much mortar dust maybe?

Houston’s Kevin Martin played only 6 minutes in the third quarter and none in the fourth because of illness, Adelman said.

Give Martin an off season to "get it together," he is an All Star quality player who can put 40 up any given night. Not too many players in the league can do that. With Martin, the best is yet to come. He is a perfect fit here, and I promise you, Adleman and Morey are not looking to fill his position. He is a lock at SG.

wow, how long did it take you to think of all that....I was joking...

But since you want to get technical...don't you have to shoot well to make a foul shot? .....Pointless debate.

And as far as I'm concerned, unless a player is a defensive specialist....whom ever isn't "shooting well" or "scoring" is about as useless as Ariza, or Hilton Armstrong (cut)...or anybody who isn't playing well.
