well we cant expect much from a dleague callup with barely any nba experience......however conroy was really ordinary today and in such a tight game that made a huge difference. morey u gotta resign lowry this season!!! dont trade him away no matter wat
It is no wonder that Philly supposedly wants Lowry involved in any deal with us. Lowry is much more than a capable pg to us. He is the one-man calvary when we are down by double digits. I have been advocating the need for a true big who can protect the paint, but if it means lose Lowry, I just don't know. For the longest time, since Cassell actually, we had mediocre pgs. Now we have two very good pgs who happen to be young. If losing Lowry is an option, we better get back the motherload in terms of talent. That's how high I think of him.
Well said there... As Rockets fans, we should recognize our players' hard effort instead of blaming them for not doing this and that..
Missed dunks, missed layups, & missed open 3s. The team really could have used Lowry last night. The team struggled without Brooks on the floor.
YES, IT, WAS!!!!! Look up the rule posted a few pages back and watch the video of the shot. His foot crossed the line before the ball hit the rim.
Still, taking a fully equipped Suns team to OT while shooting 37.7% from the field at 69% from the line is pretty good. Lots of steals and not many turnovers. We just didn't make shots.
http://www.nba.com/games/20100131/PHXHOU/gameinfo.html?ls=gt2hp0020900701 1:59 Dudley cross the lane before everyone else, Dual violation, repeat the shoot. or jump it up. If we going to stick to the rule. BTW the ball hit the rim almost at the same time Brook cross the lane nobody can see that without a slow motion replay, he is one of the ref that love the spotlight and love to decide the game for themselves rather that let the game be decided by the player.
But the refs never never call that, and it happen regularly. Why call it in the last few seconds of the game?
They usually let it go if the opposing team gets the ball but they usually call it when the team shooting the free throw retains posession. Quite trying to blame the referees for the lost. If Brooks would've made that lay up at the end, he wouldn't have had to even try that free throw. I'm not blaming the loss on him because he's the one that kept the Rockets in the game in the second half but don't put the blame on the refs. They should never have allowed it to come down to one free throw in the first place.
It seems like ever since we've been in our slump, Scola & Landry haven't taken many/any 15-18ft jumpers. They were each nailing around 5 of those per game earlier this year, but not lately. I'd like to see them look for those shots more to open the court a bit and then start slashing.
The Rockets need to get the ball somewhere outside the low post for Landry. I'd like to see him at the elbow or coming off screens.
