a few things i saw that lost us the game.

defense on hakeem was horrible the whole game, both Hill and PP should have not given that ****ing guy a foot of space and we did. i dont know why we did, but a guy who averages 8 points dumped 32. shame on adelman or whoever told them to stay in the low post.

luis scola gone- ouch. which means martins gotta step up and change the game which he didnt.

a lot of easy misses in general, our offense was not flowing that well and suns D was good, we had to work for our shots.

refs.... wow... that guy eli really did **** us. bottom line.

vince... well he just played clutch

and finally... brad.. well enough said...

all of that combined, we lost.

    This.

I have no idea why the Rockets did not use the time to set up a play. The entire Suns was already back on defense too.

Easy to say it, I'm not so sure. Patterson completed a very good game. We had problems defending the p&r with Nash, Warrick baskets are not only Pat/Miller's fault, you defend that play with more than 2 players. 3, possibly 4 defenders must get involved. I say we surely win today... WITH SHANE.

Give them credit too, Warrick and Carter stepped up, they played at home and were waiting us. It's clear that they prepared this game thoroughly. The defense over K-Mart was great, they literally ignored Chuck, their big men were very aggresive in every p&r with Kyle, they forbade him of creating game... They scouted us and prepared for the game very well (we didn't have time), they are also fighting for a playoff spot, played at home...

Can happen. We can also win the next game vs San Antonio. Still must fight for the playoffs, you never know. We still can win 44-45.

Now maybe people can realize just what Scola does for us.

Warrick and Carter -- we couldn't stop them or slow them down at all.

I wouldn't blame this loss too much on Miller's late-game meltdown. It was our defense in the 2nd to 4th quarters.

Did he play 19 straight minutes? No, he didn't. And with Chuck playing damn awful as well, it forced Rick to play Miller and Pat at the end. If Chuck didn't play like ass, then Hill would have gotten 9 minutes and people would still b**** about Hill. 6 points and 3 rebounds in 8 minutes sounds better now doesn't it.

Warrick and Carter played great, but it all started with Nash picking the Rockets apart. Can't blame Lowry's defense either.

Tough game but if you give career games to guys like Warrick then maybe you deserve to lose.

What I find amazing is even though we've lost only 2 games since the all star break, we're still 3.5 games behind the 8th seed. We haven't moved at all. The west is crazy.

Damn what game to lose but on to the longest home stand of the season. The team will finally get to play games with no b2b in the homestand. The team must run the table. I hope Scola is back on Saturday.
