We shot ourselves in the foot, and then Crawford shot us in the other foot. Can't bring ourselves back into rhythm at all.

I agree with the presence in the lane, but not the offensive rebounds, for the most part we have done a good job. Regardless, this isn't was has killed Rocket games, it has been mostly not having a legit closer. It's not the Rockets fault, the two closers are sitting on the bench, they are doing as much as they can.
obviously we're still missing Yao and tmac, so keep that in mind.. but i can't stress enough AGAIN the need to limit Ariza's shots. He keeps hovering around 17-20 attempts. All he needs to do is stop forcing shots and that easily puts him at 12-13 attmpts, which would probably still give him his ppg avg but more efficiently. Landry got 18 attmpts tonight, which is great, lets get it up over 20 now. Landry needs 30 mins a game at least.
we were doin great until battier decided to camp out on the 3 point line. Why did he stop posting up? And yeah go ahead and bench C-bud and scola.
its ending like this that make me wish Mcgrady is back on the floor. watching ariza trying to dribble and create while traveling is killing me
It sucks because the games Ariza has had awesome performances he has rarely created off the dribble while all the other times he has had horrendous games he has attempted to create of the dribble several times and failed.
You may not like McGrady because of what he did to the team....but that is no reason to lie. If you asked any GM who they would rather have the ball with 10 secs on the clock in a tie game: McGrady or any Rocket player currently playing. The vast majority of GMs are going to say McGrady. Those are just the facts....accept it. McGrady is the only consistent closer that the Rockets have had since 2004

yeah i think someone needs to talk to him...it's great that he wants to be that guy and wants to improve, but do it on your own time, in practice, games arent the time to try moves out. He needs to just play within the flow of the game, shoot the open shots, cut, no more one on one unless he's going against one tall defender.
