    Dear Adelman,

Why did Hill disappear for the last 17 minutes of the game when he played great defense and he's our best interior presence? At some point Hill must have crucial minutes in big games to get the experience.

Why would you ever have Chuck Hayes on the floor in the final seconds of regulation when you need a score? (and I'm sick of Chuck being lackadaisical with the ball in the high post which leads to easy turnovers and scores)

How is Scola in the game in crucial defensive possessions at the end of the game? And why was he in the game in the final possession when you were down three? It should've been Miller, Chase, Shane, Lee, and Ish.

Yes, get the frustration on that Minnesota team.

Finally we play a bad team.

When I say crucial defensive possessions with Scola, I mean in the FINAL seconds.

Chuck was frustrating to watch sometimes but he played a good game, 13 boards and good defense.

Yep, and just a couple of free throws or one less turnovers, and the Rockets win. Really, the Rockets had this game in hand a couple times.

But for once, the team looked like a cohesive unit on BOTH sides of the floor.

I just suspect that Martin-Brooks just doesn't work too well together. They are good at creating their own shots, but at the expense of getting others involved.

Maybe this is the turning point everyone is waiting for. Yes, we lost. Yes, moral victory means nothing in the record. But the team collectively overcame lots of hardship tonight, and they almost did it. It wasn't easy. Again, losses are different in the way they were lost. Defense still needs to be improved, but at least we really picked up the energy level and fighting spirit in the second half.

Keep it going, wins will come. Shane said after the NO game, that result will take care of itself, if we played the right way. Yao said something like one win is not important, because you could sometimes win just because of luck. But how you win it is important.

0-5 is ugly, but we have no where to go, but up. I certainly hope so.

With the first 2 points, I agree, regarding Scola, simple, he's the best player, has a lot of Basketball IQ (useful for crunch time), and his 3pt shooting is as bad as Ish (perhaps not as bad, cause I remember a 3pter of him at the World Cup and several in Europe)

If they played defense like that against the other teams we probably would have a win now

On a serious note, Yao not playing on back-to-backs is costing this team wins they desperately need. Some people think it's not a big deal, but when you're winless and desperate for a win, Yao sitting out doesn't help.

I know Yao doesn't play back-to-backs, but couldn't we have played him today and sat him tomorrow? Why it necessary to have him play against Minny and not the Spurs?

Its no surprise Lee played Manu better than Martin, that's a given.

Chuck really stepped up and funneled Parker out of the lane when he got by ish, so it wasnt Ish alone who contained parker.

I dunno.... the way I look at it, this yr rocket's team is nt as unselfish as last yr's....

with 2 PG out, Ish is probably trying to step up his game to impress the coach... I like his quickness and assist, but him taking too many poor shot may cause us the game...

I am glad that Rick did not play Martin after the 3rd quarter... at least he will get his rest for tomorrow's game... Let's hope we win tomorrow... Rockets needa a win to boost team morale!!!

Maybe with Yao against the wolves, it's a guarantee win? there is a mismatch in the centre skills?

It seems to me that Lee always caused us the game... rmb the dallas pre-season loss with that out of bound ball?

The missed FT in Spurs game today and the turnover in the final min that caused us to give spurs a foul?

I am not blaming him, a loss is a loss and that's that... Just hope he learn and do something to his game...
