Are you serious? Do you even watch the games or just pick something to whine about and come straight to the boards.

not a bad loss. i thought they were gonna struggle with AB and KM getting injured. but they almost stole a win there. the game would of been over had lee made both FTs.

Well, we are 0:5 right now...but we will be winning if we keep playing defense like what we did today..

A closer can hit 2 FT's when it counts. Missing FT's that can win the game is the worse form of mistake you can make in Basketball.

    Its free points.

COURTNEY LEE IS THE MASTER OF CHOKE. We should've known this after his blown WIDE OPEN layup with orlando in the finals...we need to sit him out in the 4th.

I'm depressed.. damn clee one free throw could of done it, but saying he sucks is just dumb. His defense helped us get back in the game kmart or brooks can't play better than that. Ish smith on ball defense is way better than brooks. Its time for jordan hill to get 30 minutes and if he ends not playing in another game for any reason besides injury or discipline I want RA gone.

    Couple of things I saw...

    - Lee missing those free throws were all mental. He can shoot 1000 free throws a day in practice but its all in his head; he just needs to relax.

    - Budinger needs to relax with the green light. IMHO he's starting to play like Ariza pre-trade-deadline. Just shoots every time he touches.

    - Smith played well. The only thing I disliked was late in game when he tried to drive and score by himself instead of passing to Scola at the high post. Late in the game, Scola was either scoring or passing the ball to the open man when he was at the high post. You can see Scola getting frustrate when Smith kept trying to do floaters. I felt as if Smith was trying to add to the stat sheet so he can get more PT.

    - That last unit of Smith, Lee, Battier, Scola, Hayes played well down the stretch. Its always nice to see a team hustle on D.

    - It was nice to see Hill in there to get some blocks. 27 mins a game and he will slowly blossom into talent.

The Rockets should play Jordan Hill more, Pat Pat should also see playing time, and Yao will be fresh. Maybe Martin will play too? And Rick should play JT!!!!!

Good news is we could be 5-0, we really haven't played that bad. No one should panic, yet.

    some stats:

Martin 24 pts in 22 mins, 10 shots

Hill only 4 rebs in 27 mins, but 2 blocks

chuck 13 rebs in 27 min

    budinger 0 for everything

    Ish 7 asst

JJ DNP....He's not that bad, RA needs to give him at least least 2-3 mins, he's good at bringing in energy in short spurts.

If it is any consolation to fans, we now know that the Rockets do have heart. It was a fun game to watch, especially when they showed so much grit and determination. Lee was the fly in the ointment as he choked, again.

It was good to see that not only can Ish dish but he can also defend. He pretty much stuck with Parker and contained him relatively well.

Despite this loss, I think the Rockets have improved to the point that they should start turning their season around.

Courtney Lee should never be allowed to play at the end of games. Good Christ. Who told Smith he could shoot?

Sucks to have your playoffs hopes dashed after GAME ****ING FIVE of the season, but here we are. Not too sure this team is anywhere near good enough to climb out of a five-game hole and still make it to 50 wins. It was a beautiful dream, Morey, but the "Role Players United" thing has crashed and burned. If we don't win a game next week, I may be ready to advocate tanking. There's just no way the Rockets are going to come back from 0-7 to win 50 games. Not THESE Rockets, anyway.

it is like the movie INCEPTION where somebody planted an idea in our collective consciousness during the preseason that this Rockets team is a good, deep, playoffs-bound team and now that we are 0-5, we are finally waking up to a NIGHTMARE! and it is not over, far from over... we are still 3 nightmares down... we desperately need a kick to wake us up!

Well, we had tough teams 0-5. This is where the schedule turns. We know we are not an elite team, yet. If we don't win now against teams that are considered less than good, we will know we are a bad team.

I believe Pat Pat wasn't even part of the active 12. I guess that means more PT for Hill to develop.
