Kyle Lowry: "It hit the glass..."

    Joey Crawford: "Technical!"

Lowry has way better baskeball IQ than Brooks!

Morey knows that and so does everyone else! Why else would he keep rejecting trade offers from other teams when it included Lowry? Morey was pratically gonna give up Brooks and Battier to Minni for the rights to Rubio but they declined! This was when Morey didn't even know that Rubio was even gonna come to America.

In Morey's eyes, Lowry is more valued than Brooks and thus, his "opinion" matters most and trumps everyone's on this board!

There have been stretches where Lowry has been brutally ineffective. He can only play one way and when its not going his way, he goes back to the bench. (Boston for example)

Lowry doesnt have the expectations that Brooks has either. Right now, this is Brooks team. When we are down, its on him to create and make plays. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesnt.

The sloppy carelessness of the ball from Ariza and AB in the 3rd was our undoing. I can live with the other's faults because they were trying to make the right plays, AB and Ariza were just getting stupid with the ball.

.....both are back-ups? God knows you're the one who called trading for Martin a CD-level error, but Brooks is not a starting level PG? The heck are you talking? Brooks is a top 15 PG, so to call him a back-up is patently idiotic.

This should not be a Brooks/Lowry debate, because neither of them are good enough unless we trade for the right SG/SF. With our current SG/SF, I think a Rubio type would fix a lot of problems, just saying....

We haven't seen it? AB/MArtin/Ariza played together for some games this year already, and the defense was nowhere to be found.

It's foolish to deny what we have seen.

Manu Ginobili would certainly thrive in Rick Adelman's offense. If the thought of sharing balls with Luis Scola became a fantasy for Ginobili, then good news for the sleepy coach..

I still believe Lowry would be good enough with Yao/Martin/Scola in the lineup. He needs more scorers around him.

AB on the other hand, needs more defenders around him, something like Yao/Hill/Ariza if Hill develops. Like that SF3/Mobley team. Yao/Cato would be better than Yao/Taylor for them.

There is no way Aaron Brooks is a backup PG in this league. I expect better from you Saleem.

When he was playing alongside Martin, he was dropping 25+ point games consistently.

I'll never understand how losing to the Spurs, an elite level team, without our 2 franchise players and a handful of rotation players leads to us needing to scapegoat onto Brooks. We started Jermaine freaking Taylor tonight.

hill and hairston is the future back court of the spurs pretty good and spurs could possibly draft a scoring 3 in the draft and trade tony parker for a big to replace duncan could be another possibility and hope the spurs sign manu to a 3 year 12 million contract

good game rockets taylor is pretty good i believe the rockets should go after a big man in the draft i dont think yao will hold up too much longer

Look DD and OremLK, I am not here to bash Brooks! I understand that he is young and is still learning. He has terrific range and can shoot lights out and can easily put up 20 PPG.

I am merely saying that Brooks is not a PG that is a championship level starter and needs to be benched in favor of a shoot first point guard. Alot of great players come off the bench and produce championships. Brooks falls in that category and once yall realize that, yall will be suprised. He needs to accept a Jason Terry like role of the bench.

Even Morey can vouch for me when he stated that Lowry has more importance to this team than Brooks. He didn't state it in words obviously, but by his actions.

Why else would he want to trade Brooks and Battier to Minni for Rubio's rights when he didn't even know for certain that he was gonna come play in America. He repeatedly rejected many offers for Lowry, such as the Clippers and Sixers offer of Marcus Camby and Andre Iguodala?

Sometimes it gets you from a close single digit deficit to a double digit blowout.

I can't live with AB just keep driving in with negative results, he needs to learn from that.

I know Lowry is a change of pace guard, I give him a lot of slack because he tries to make the right play most of the time. The fact that he isn't a great shooter arguably makes him an even better decision maker then AB, because he can't just revert to chucking the ball when the options seem closed to him. He's more patient then AB and explores his other options.
