It's just like I've been saying for a long time now. You cannot get excited about anything this team does because any time they play well for a short time, it's followed up with a string of losses. The Rockets are now below .500 again, according to my advanced statistical software.

Kevin Martin has to be the worse player in the league scoring point when it counts. If its 6 minutes or less, the coach might as well take him out the game.

They have played just excellent since the break. These losses are hurting us because we were in the hole before the break. If we were not that desperate of winning every game, these losses would not have hurt much.

We have played 7 games on the road and 3 at home: 10 games after the break

To win 5-2 on the road.

Losing to the Clippers when we were playing 4th game in 4 days is not that bad. Actually, Clippers have been beating some good teams lately.... Denver, Celtics...

We played really good against PHX too, even being without Scola. Carter had to wake up in a game against us :(...

Third loss since the break is this one... Spurs is the BEST team in the league... and we were without one of out 2 best players...

I will take those losses anyday and still consider this team a playoff team. Them being in every single game they lost.. and on the other hand, winning with big margins shows how good we have played recently. This team is a playoff team. They probably won't make it... not because of they are playing right now... but how they played till the break.

I see them winning 4 of the next 5... if that happens then we would be 11 to 4 since break. 5 to 2 on the road and 6 to 2 at home (losing to Boston and SA only)

Rockets were doing well again, missing Scola is hurting too much in these 2 consecutive defeats. I hope he won't be underrated by fans anymore.

When your team has won 4 NBA titles and currently has the NBA's best record at 54-12, you can afford to be obnoxious. It was the same way last night with the Lakers' fans at the AAC. Of course, up here, we also get to see obnoxious cowsheep fans wearing their "Got Five?" t-shirts. It just goes with the territory I suppose.

Had fun in houston, goodluck on yalls run to a playoff spot

Spurs got to play better, but see flashes of championship swag they had when they won championships and haven't seen that swag since 07

I'm convinced you like getting clowned on. It's sad that you're content with everyone thinking of you as a joke.

We had 30 M out the last 2 games. We were rolling with 18 M out. End of story.

And Spurs also possibly, remember former games against them, with Scola on court, I rememeber one going to OT after Courtney missing 2 consecutive FT. In the other, Rockets were handling Spurs pretty well, until Manu went Jordanesque and screwed it all.

Scola is a big trouble to them in court, perhaps they are even more affected by remembering how they lost him.

    Fact after the trade:
    5-0 When TWill played
    0-3 When TWill didn't play
Let's play TWill 1min a game, he's the good luck charm.

I took a trip to Houston this weekend to go see the game. This was my first time ever in the Toyota Center seeing the Rockets and it was awesome! The game was great even though we lost but our boys fought hard. It's too bad the refs had to take over the game and give the Spurs the victory but what can you do.

Houston is a great city and the game was so exciting to go to. I hope to come back at some point in my life to cheer on my Rockets again! :)
