Yeah that was me. I had like 12 people here in San Antonio text to tell me they saw me on tv. My wife dvr'd the game for me, but I think it's the spurs telecast :-/

I am glad that you mentioned it. Ever since Brooks has been playing significant minutes from the bench Bud has hardly ever touched the ball. The ball too has not moved around as much due to Brooks' tendency to over dribble and pass to his team mates only when the clock is about to expire, or he tries to attempt desperate shots when the shot clock is winding down to a few seconds. The frustrating result is that the bench is out of sync and unproductive at this point.

The thoughts of imminent trade are weighing on some of our players. I think they can sense that something will happen because of their record and issues on the court. They know this unit is not working, so the hammer is going to fall. Just who is going to be sent packing is probably all that's on their mind right now.

I don't understand this when Adelman continues to play his pet AB no matter how horribly he's playing. Sure, Martin was being careless with the ball, but at least he was scoring up until that point. AB loses the ball, doesn't score, doesn't defend, doesn't create shots for his teammates...basically just hurts the team in every which way. I understand that Adelman knows what AB is capable of and thinks one day it will just click again, but when it looks like tonight's not that game...why does he continue to play him down crucial stretches??

As for the bright spot of the evening, Scola is a baller and I loved watching him make Spurs fans think the same thoughts in my signature all over again. True, they're thriving without him, but how much deadlier would they be with him? I just love Luis and he's partly why I hold onto the hopes of becoming contenders in the near future without having to blow things up. He's got the true Houston heart of a champion and I'd like to see him win one with us.

No Morey = no scola, no kevin martin, no lowry.

So yeah, we would probably be fighting with the Cavs for worst team league.

This game shows the difference between a great coach like Pops and a mediocre in-game coach like Adelman. The spurs were disciplined, knew what to do and executed well all game. The rockets didn't seem like they knew how to play basketball at all, seems like there was no gameplan or strategy just "run the offense and it'll be fine". And defense? Seems like none of the bench players knew the meaning of the word. KM sat out the whole 2nd quarter, wtf is up with that? Who sits out their best offensive option for one whole ******* quarter?

In no way did Morey not grab his ankles and bend over. Then proceed to take it hard and long in that trade in which he lost Trevor Ariza for Courtney Lee. Money my butt. We could have produced some trade by now that would have gotten us better than that for Ariza and someone else.

You say Courtney doesnt play Lee?

I say Morey took it pants down...

This 2011 Brooks, one who rarely creates, over dribbles into a turnover, and in a shooting slump is killing this team. Aldeman needs to bench him for good and let Ish be the backup pg.

We are almost to the point that this season is completely lost. Just 13 more losses and we will 40 losses for 2011.

I completely agree with you on making Ish the backup pg. It's like they say with solid NFL qb's. We don't need anything spectacular, we just need someone to "manage the game". Only problem is any given night ab could go off for 30, and Rick knows it. Ab on his A game I think is still the best scorer on the team. Problem is, his A game is long gone.

Absolutely. Brooks on his A game is a very special. Morey and Aldeman have a tough choice. If they don't play him, his trade value goes down. If they play him, it hurts the team. Something is really wrong him and a combination of losing his job as a starter, no contract extension have really messed him up mentally.

Agree it. AB is sucks as he is every nights. Luis has a champion haert so does Battier, Hayes... RA is wasting our talent.

I think RA has 'lost' his players already. There was also one play where I was surprised KL didn't fight the pick to get to his man George Hill, like he gave up already.

KL is not playing well in this stretch.

Good eye. Lowry was plain lazy on that play, merely watching Hill take a wide open 3

The players body language tell u everything u need to know about this team. The heart of champion no longer beats in Houston.
