Must be said: very unlucky the Courtney's absence. Because of how he was playing, and because of how Martin and Brooks have played. I doubt we lose this game with him, but... those are your other wing players too: people who can only help you by scoring.

Elton Brand looked the best I've seen him since he joined the Sixers. It was one of the few games in which Hayes had little effect on the opposing team's offensive big.

Hayes also missed a handful of shots around the basket. Just not a good game all around for the Chuckwagon.

Patrick Patterson's defense in the beginning of the fourth quarter was very, very impressive. Great rebounds, tip-outs and box-outs.

I think you may be right.

    Rockets 26-31; played 57 games, 25 remain.

Rockets have to go 16-9 to go 42-40(last year's record).

Many think somewhere between 43-45 wins will get you into the playoffs. If that's the case, Rockets would have to go:

    (as mentioned)16-9 to go 42-40
    17-8 to go 43-39
    18-7 to go 44-38
    19-6 to go 45-37

    You get the idea.

Sure, trade will be nice but gonna take more than a trade(or two) imo
I think I got all that right. :p

It pains me to see the lack of defense out there. It is so disheartening. It has been such a roller coaster ride with this team this season, It sucks how fast the season has gone by and just seeing our team struggle.

I am praying for one hell of a trade deadline/off season.

Adelman let the team have it during his presser, he's looked more and more frustrated after every game.

Everyone not named Patterson, Lowry, and Scola decided to take an early All-Star Break.

Zero defense, very poor effort overall, and it's finally worn me down to the point where I'd be fine with everyone being traded.

jazz currently have a better record but in worse state
rudy gay out for a month or more
    then if melo exits denver...

rockets could find themselves in the playoffs by default.

On a positive note, Jermaine Taylor played 39 minutes tonight in Sactown and was the top scorer on the team with 17 points. :) Way to go Jermaine.

Whoa, whoa, whoa, hold on here. My Rowdy contract says I have to agree to a trade before a trade can go down. Not going to happen.

Can anyone tell me why Bud was in to close the game???? Pat should've closed that game instead of him.

Rockets needed points, so they decided to go small.

Plus, the Sixers had Brand/Young as their C/PF combo, so Adelman tried to match-up with it with a Scola/Battier combo.

No I don't blame this on Rick, I blame this on Morey for making our roster full of soft players.
